Best tour! Splashy Fish looks like fun place to visit and buy fish. For people wanting to know more about fish history, may I recommend the channel “Fishtory!”, which was formerly known as “The Secret History Living in your Aquarium”. The channel host is Alexander Williamson (called Alex by his followers), and he researches fish species history, fish genetics, human fish-keeping and aquariums, and visits sites where US scientists are researching fish species. Amazing young man, and his wife loves fish, too. 😎 P.S.-Went to your channel “The Dirty Tank” and saw that you now keep Thalassophryne amazonica, the freshwater VENOMOUS toadfish…very brave of you, sir! May I suggest some names for your little monster fish: Gobbler, Whack, Ninja, Killah. 😉

I did not understand some of your use of generational slang, and if all your videos are like this I will be less likely to watch. Which is unfortunate as otherwise you provided good and easy to understand information. And you had great video of your fish. I am a very long term fish keeper, now retirement age and am increasing the number of tanks i keep and breeding.

I'd like to get this light for a reptile tank but rather than change colour with each time I'd like it to be off overnight, then dimmed and slowly get brighter, then dim again and switch off as the day ends. Is that possible with this light?

I think your leopard Lily is actually dumb cane/dieffenbachia, and a very nice example of one. I would never concidered this hydro friendly, but i concur 👏

Very nice cory collection! FWIW, I'm no expert, but I don't think Lake Tanganyike was formed by a glacier. Here's what google says - Lake Tanganyika was not formed by a glacier, but rather by tectonic movements: Formation Lake Tanganyika was formed around 9-12 million years ago by the rifting of the African plate. It is located in the Great Rift Valley, a 9,656 km crack in the Earth's crust. Features Lake Tanganyika is the world's longest freshwater lake, the second deepest lake, and the largest rift lake in Africa. It is located in the western arm of the East African Rift Valley and is shared by Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Tanzania, and Zambia. The East African Rift System (EARS) began to form during the Oligocene, when the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden opened. The lakes in the region were formed after the landscapes were created by these earth movements.

Great idea! The only change I would make is to use a rubberized adhesive instead of Gorilla Glue. Gorilla Glue dries rock hard, like immovable and very brittle hard. This will probably cause an issue later on because it's attached to a soft rubber hose. When the soft hose gets moved around it'll put pressure on the brittle glue joint and cause it to crack and leak.

Great point! When it fails I'll have to use silicone instead.

@@thedirtytankI would use a pvc or abs bulkhead with a barb for tubing on the bottom. The lower profile of the bulkhead will leave less water sitting in the bucket when you’re done and it’s going to seal way better and longer than any adhesive and tubing combo. You can also buy strainers that fit the bulkhead
