I can’t copy paste the Google Map link in this reply, so please check out the description in the long form video TITLED ‘Grandma Steamed Rice cake in Siem Reap, Cambodia’ for the location details. Thanks 😊
I don’t know the difference between sea snails and garden snails, but I do know that they were collected from rice fields during the rainy season in Cambodia🇰🇭 . As for how to prepare the snails for safe consumption, soak them in water overnight to expel any sand or dirt. It can be cooked in various ways, such as steaming it with lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves (as shown in this video), grilled, sautéed, fried, and more.
It is not a good food for those western people even it fresh and organic things, just a bite of taste that's okay, but if they're ate it too much..otherwise they are literally get diarrhoea just bcuz they never use to have it like us,but anyway field snails is the most and popular dishes cuisine recipe for our khmer traditional menu, and i like it too🤤 yummy
Great job introducing our Cambodia food to tourists but please don’t eat in groups because I saw you guys dipping the Sauce container all together. Should be eat separate sauces container. ❤
Sorry for the inconvenience. The price is $9.75. We forgot to add that in the video and description for this video. We put prices in the video and description in most, if not all of our videos. Thanks for giving us valuable feedback!
Hello I really liked your video but cannot understand the composition of your soil. I know you put garden soil, and I think charcoal? and then something else that was dry. Could you please let me know. Also I just got some fresh galangal from Thailand but it was in the fridge there, so should I keep out to let it dry for a few days before I put it into soil? Many thanks for your help.

The white thing that you are referring to is the ‘Batter’ that the bananas are dipped in. I don’t know the recipe of the batter as it is a secret. Thanks for asking! (Translated your comment via Google Translate)
Would be nice to know the name of the food and price or only if there’s pork chicken or beef. Because I would not know what to choose in front of these street food stands.
Can you please tell us the timestamp for the food that you wanted to know about? It’s so we can help answer your questions. Thanks for your feedback on the lack of food name, price, and options. We will use your advice to help improve our future videos.
