When this transitions into a flashback and we see Joel again I was more emotional than I have ever been before playing a game. I miss Joel so much. We see Ellie in the scene we can tell she’s interested in Dina but she doesn’t have the confidence to talk to her or ask her to dance. She’s standing their alone perfectly happy with just observing her surroundings not getting involved but when Dina asks her to dance she manages to gain so,e confidence. It broke my heart when she yelled at Joel. I understand why she did it but it hurt. Joel was a caring and supportive father to Ellie he made a mistake. He did but I’m so glad she managed to forgive him in the end. She never got to say how much he meant to her. That’s why she went on the revenge quest in Seattle. She was a daughter who lost her father and didn’t know how to react. I hope Ellie and Dina get a happy ending because they deserve it. Hopefully they can work out their problems and move on.
God I miss him. It feels like someone in my own life has died. When Joel said “you have no idea what loss is” I think he knew deep down Ellie would lose him, before he got the chance to lose her.
un grande Naughty Dog por agregar estos temas en the last of us gracias a ellos empecé a tocar guitarra, entrenó y entrenó todos los dias para que cuando pueda dominar los acordes tenga posibilidad de poder tocar este tema
I feel like the ending should’ve been that Ellie kills Abby; but she becomes the monsters that she fights against. Because I think of that song that Ellie sang: “If I ever lose you, I would lose myself”. The death of Joel made her become a ruthless killer that she is treated like an urban legend throughout the years
I do believe that one if the biggest motivations for Ellie’s revenge was that she was never able to forgive Joel, she said she would try but had the chance stolen from her the very next day. Such a beautiful game.
