Formerly known as brawlmaster012. These days, I go by "Advocate" as someone who wants to continuously support and uplift others using my powers of empathy and kindness. I work every day to develop myself as an individual and stand as a soft-spoken ally for good in the world.
I'm a former ranter/analyst of cartoons and video games since 2007. As of 10/30/18, I have officially retired from video-making to focus on my offline career and personal development. I have left my channel open as an archive for new and old viewers to continue enjoying my older content.
While I will never rule out the possibility of me returning to video production someday, I don't want to make any promises or get anyone's hopes up for it.
Hello, Advocate. Or Brawlmaster08/Brawlmaster012, as I have better known you as. It's BlueMario1016 or just Blue for short. As of this comment, it's May 29, 2024, as I post this to keep a memory here. I have long remembered you from the late 2000s, when I was still a teenager on RU-vid and I really miss seeing you pump out videos. And I know you have retired from making videos from more than half a decade ago. You were one of the finest people I have met. And as much as I am a big Nintendo fan, it also pleases me that there's many out there online who are more or less just as passionate fans as I am. The two-decade old gold treasure that is Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door has finally gotten the justice it deserves, with a full blown Nintendo Switch remake. We have finally won and Nintendo listened and decided to go back to what made the series so great and remake a beloved entry that many Nintendo fans have loved for so long. Let me tell you. Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door Switch remake is fantastic and it is just like you remembered from back in the Gamecube era, only enhanced with not just far better graphics and in Full HD, but it has plenty of quality of life improvements and lots more stuff that not only gives the game more personality, but also more to experience as they actually added tons of new content...minus the 30 FPS issue, that kind of make special moves to pull off a bit harder. Though I was able to play on my Samsung TV at 60 FPS oddly enough. I got the Switch remake on Saturday during the first weekend of the game's release. And as of yesterday, I completed it in just four days (Gameplay time being at 35 hours and 48 minutes). And I was obsessed with Thousand Year Door as a kid on the Gamecube and played the living hell out of that beast back in the day when it was released in 2004 as I got that on my 12th birthday. I completed that as well. I HIGHLY recommend you to please check out the Switch remake. You will NOT be disappointed at all. This is not some bullshit nostalgia cash grab as this sets the gold standard on how remakes like this should be done. As of now, I am a digital artist and do commission work and have done tons of art on DeviantArt and also on other platforms. And I've come a very long way with my creations and let me just say that my stuff from back then and now, are night and day. Different times, we live in now. I wish you best of luck with your future endeavors and one day, we'll talk again.
Advocate, formerly known as Brawlmaster012, I don't know if you'll ever see this comment, since there's no telling if you even check back here from time to time to see if anyone has posted on your videos lately. But, on the off-chance you do and catch this in your notifications, I hope life is good for you currently, I miss hearing your thoughts on subjects you love to talk about, and right now, I wish you hours, no, *days* of enjoyment with the Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door remake that has finally arrived today (as of this typing). It's been 20 years, and I'm sure we're all ready to be enchanted by this childhood favourite all over again. Stay cool and safe as possible. Warm regards, StacheHand, formerly known as KingRaikou.
24:28 Thought I’d go back to this now that the Splatoon servers are officially over (as well as the whole Wii U/3DS library), it only took them almost 8 years after this was uploaded. Whilst we do have Splatoon 2 and 3 on the Switch, they don’t have that “homely” feel the original had like going back to simpler times with its exclusive specials and sub weapons. Fortunately, the Pretendo fan servers are available so in that sense, the original Splatoon will live on for as long as one has a Pretendo account and Wii U modded 👍
I come back to this video as part of my search for old Smash 4 prediction videos. I'm honestly still glad that this video is still easily searchable and up nowadays. I vaguely remember other ones so I hope if people find this comment can help me. For ones, I remember: -A video that had the Outlaw Star theme while going through the newcomers. -A prediction video where it had the Smash Big Band medley theme. -A video where someone recreated the ESRB Leak in Photoshop.
# 10. Haven't seen yet, but I'm excited to try once I get to watching Disney Channel shows. # 9. Didn't like that much at first until rewatching it. The show got better and interesting. # 8. Didn't watch yet, but another show I'm excited to watch badly. # 7. One of my favorite nickelodeon shows and watched many times as a kid. # 6. One of the best cartoon network shows that's calm and relaxing. # 5. Will check out soon. # 4. My favorite show over every other show out there, including later seasons. # 3. Closest to being the greatest show next to #4 with great jazz music. # 2. Not into this show, but will rewatch. # 1. Love both shows with all elemental fighting actions.
I was going through some old channels that I used to watch 10+ years ago for a nostalgia trip and remembered brawlmaster08 and had to look you up again. I was a regular watcher back in those days and didn't know you had continued on for so long. Even though we've all grown up and the world is different now, there's something special about that time on RU-vid from 05-10. Channels were smaller, and people were making videos out of passion. Thanks for the videos you made back then, hope you're doing well these days, godspeed
This appeared in my recommendations and while I don't necessarily agree fully when it comes to Sonic, (I love the original continuity that the Classic to the so called "Dark Age" had, to the point I honestly do prefer Shadow and 06 story wise over Colors and generally don't like the Meta era and I'm glad Frontiers seems to be going back the Adventure era style of storytelling) what you said about Mario is why I switched sides in the old 90s rivalry. I have always been a story and characters over gameplay guy, so Sonic's personality, character development, a world that had set locations and where past events mattered drew me in. So I kid you not I gave up the chance to own a N64 and Mario 64 when it came out to instead get a Genesis and Sonic 1. (which actually does have a lot more lore then it first seems) It wasn't Mario that would bring me back to Nintendo, it was Link and Pokemon. To touch upon Toad a second, as he is my favorite out of cast, it troubles me that Nintendo was playing with the idea that he was never a character to begin with and that it was all random toads, before settling on making him blue. (even though making him and Captain Toad the same character would make more sense and be less confusing for everyone)
The saddest moment of Avatar: The Last Airbender for me, would have to be when Katara was angry at her dad. Especially when Aang took his glider and left, and when Katara was saying, “He left.” Hakoda said, “What?” Katara said, “Aang. He just took his glider, and took off. He has this ridiculous notion that he has to save the world alone. That it’s all his responsibility.” Hakoda said, “Maybe that’s his way of being brave.” Then Katara said, “It’s not brave, it’s selfish, and stupid. And we should be helping him. And I know the world needs him, but doesn’t he know how much we need him too? How could he just leave us behind?” Hakoda then realized why Katara was angry at him, because he was like, “You’re talking about me, too, aren’t you?” Katara said, “How could you leave us, dad?” Then he hugged her, and said, “I love you more than anything. You and your brother are my entire world. I thought about you every day I was gone. And every day I went to bed, I would stay awake, missing you both, so much it would ache.” That scene beautifully written, and acted.
Okay, i know this video is 5 years old, but Who says that the RPGs arent canon exactly? Just because is an spin off? Cause that doesn't makes sense, this games are canon Nintendo has never said they're not and as long as they don't say the contrary It Will stay like this.

Hey man, I hope you're doing well. I used to have a channel called Predator61Jack and uploaded video game music videos circa 15-ish years ago. I recall you made a tribute to me when I left, right after RU-vid started cracking down on licensed music usage. It's been a long time, but I always look back on those years with such fondness. There were a few others we were really friendly with, though I struggle to recall their usernames. It was such a fun a vibrant community. Anyways, just dropping by because you crossed my mind recently. Take care of yourself, bud.
Not all later seasons of SpongeBob are terrible except for seasons 6-8. If you watch seasons 9-11, you'll realize that the episodes are as good as seasons 1-3.
I kinda wanna know what he thinks about his Alola league win, as well as the fact that he’s now the 8th strongest trainer in the world with a super badass new team.

I come back and rewatch this video every now and again. This is the most interesting period of Smash speculation in my opinion, because it's when I first got into the community. Looking back on myself from 2014 is very interesting

Naruto is kiddy? A blood lusted child crushed people to death raining their blood everywhere, you literally watch an arrow get driven through Nejis shoulder.
It's been 7 years since this video and Sora is finally in Smash! I got very nostalgic watching this video and Sora's reveal brought me here. It's been an amazing journey, just wish I got to see your reaction to his reveal. (I asked about KH3 in your Q&A video in case you see this)
