To stop the stroke bevore reaching the hip is nonsense. Look at al world class oc1 paddlers. They all pull beyond there hip with the paddle to gain additional force and speed. That also means to drive the upper hand below chest level.
Can you do a final demonstration of the stroke you're explaining, a lot of talking, but what does it look like. You done an explanation but no demonstration
Nice! Thanks for sharing. Which camera and what kind of power supply did you use? I had an Insta360 running off an external battery. It limits each video to 30 minutes and is supposed to immediately start a new file each time it hits that time but it went crazy on me a couple instances and I had to manually start a new recording.
