Yeah, no, the most random 50-point game was Malachi Flynn just this year. He averaged 5.2 points per game in his career at the time. He has only had 6 other games in his career above 20 points (4 of which were in his rookie year).
That game was wild too! We had just traded him as well so it hurt a little bit but the next game he came out and went back to his regularly scheduled program
@@user-rz9qc3ex2uyeah but there usually 60-70 percent of the reason their team wins. Tatum did not perform like a superstar and yet his team won in dominant fashion
Great video man. I will say that this is nothing new for Boston fans lol, it took Brady leaving for Tampa and multiple years of the Patriots being ass for people to finally stop calling him a "system QB," and some people still don't even think he's the GOAT, hell some are already crowning Mahomes who hasn't even played a decade yet. I saw multiple people pissed about David Ortiz making the HOF despite him being the best DH of all time and the most clutch hitter since Reggie Jackson. Tatum is just the next man up. Hopefully Drake Maye soon as well lol. But at the end of the day, while it's definitely frustrating seeing your favorite players get shit on for interactions, as long as we keep winning, I'm a happy man. Again, great video man. Really boiled down what sports talk has turned into, hope one day we see this era of hot takes die out.
Such a good video. Nailed so many points on why basketball discourse and casual fans are pretty awful and change the narrative like a pick me girl changes their bf. Got a new subscriber keep up the great videos!
Tatum’s a cool dude, he’s just a little goofy, but too good and not goofy enough to be funny like Jamaal Williams. He’s also on the Celtics. Automatically makes him more hate able. Also, people don’t understand basketball. They think of “points” not “how does this player impact basketball”. Tatum had a good-great playoffs. There’s more to impacting a game than points. Tatum had the highest +/- in the playoffs and a big part of it is because of his great defense and great playmaking.
This is a straight garbage take comparing sga and tatum is completely horrible the Celtics went to the extent of surrounding Tatum with pieces to minimize his deficiencies yet he still underperformed Tatum also Tatum got a major push from the media this mvp race his play just didn’t capitalize on it and everyone who isn’t a casual understood how he was clearly not the mvp channels like yours that out out this content honestly make it hard to like Tatum you gotta be transparent and call a spade a spade Tatum didn’t really show up and was shot chucking in game 5 to desperately try to have a chance at the finals mvp just sad tbh
Tatum played horrible besides game 5 and even in the games where he did nothing he stayed on in garbage time to pad his stats. There's a reason he didn't win MVP.
@@moondaysss_5521 Casual ass take. He played great basketball throughout the entire series. The only thing he struggled with was shooting efficiency, everything else he was great at.
@@charlie_541 when you have all the attacking options he did on that team and he was forced to be a “playmaker” (literally just kick outs) and shot as poor as he did then yes he underperformed simple as that
A "ranDu"m thawt 🤔...I guess this shows that LBJ really needed to be taught how to take over a game and win...😮 and that's what could've happened in 2011, but Dirk had his breakout performance without a Shaq or any other superstar and that Mavs team got the best of 3 elite players 😅😂
1. Mind the Game is Boring 2. Gil show is the worst, Gil cant be the smartest brain and the most ignorant brain on the couch with no one to challenge him 3. Perkins is the best athlete turned commentary and Austin Rivers and Paul Pierce are probably the worst 🤣 4. Draymond has potential with the right pieces 5. And its time for Skip to retire… Shannon and Stephen were always the stars 6. The WNBA women commentators have the most well balanced and knowledge takes and don’t go for clickbait but will never get the credit
I never underated him he was a beast and probably would have made it to the finals with the rockets his last year was watching the game when he got that hurt which caused him to retire
@@matthewmartinez6922 agree with everything except ANT. Maybe in the future he will be but rn hes not better than Tatum. The only thing he has on Tatum is scoring, everything else Tatum is better at
T-wolves need another PG desperately. I feel like T-wolves would be a great fit for brogdon. If not Minnesota, new Orleans also needs a solid PG. These are 2 teams that would be great for Brogdon, new Orleans isn't a contender until Zion becomes stable but their at least a playoff team unlike Portland.
