Wed play in Streets plus We'd Play on Ice as I Got older older ..My Brother Jesse Hill took me to my 1st Ever Bruins game 1990 or 91 ' When Bruins played Montreal Canadians in old Boston Garden those Bruin Patches on Bobby Orr Jersery bi bought #2 for $5.00 in thee Garden that night the 1st & only Hockey Game I've ever ever been too I'll never forget 6 Rows behind Bench seats Guy Lefuer It was his last game he came out & Throwing His helmet out to audience also 3 of his jerseys He played the Whole Game without a a helmet he was retiring..The game went 3-3 in Sucicide Overtime.. In all my life I could never never ever afford to go to another "" GAME IN MY LIFE"" that's how expensive things we're growing up I'm glad I can say in 31 year's loving & living in Massachusetts I finally got to go to one yes 1 Boston Bruins GAME... These were my days as a little boy in Taunton,Mass Sitting beside my older brother Jesse Hill watching Our Team & these Men of "" BLACK & GOLD"" play Hockey so, so, many Greatest of greats..My Young youth Bobby Orr was doing promotion's for Flinstone Banks & Bay Bank & Fleet Bank.. I remember like it was yesterday Our late father doing road job detail " Taunton's Finest Police Department & he got a Polarod picture With Mr. Orr in his light Blue Dress Shirt Bobby Orr Slacs "" for Flinstone Bank I Taunton , Mass & Met The Great one 4 An asked him to come over Our Home on 72 Fremont St. I almost Shit my Pants I was young very very young 11 or so And Jesse Hill & Jay got pictures with him plus Signed Autograph's 4 Free an our mother made a huge meat loaf dinner an we sat & are wit Bobby Orr.. He was so, so, humble & nice & down to Earth just a regular genuine Human Being.. we'll years later He would Stop in from time to time about 3 more different times having lunch or dinnah with us.. My Family absolutely Loved Him ..How many Real Professional Athletic Altheles Would've Done this Today??. MR. Orr was like part of Our Family absolutely Like Family in our House Hold. I'll always Remember This Man until I die How really great he was just Total Greatest Of thee Now 18+ Professional Athletic Altheles I've met in my short short life of 50 Year's.. I loved playing Hockey also & Men like him & late Gordie Howell & Wayne Gretzky made my love grow Founder of wanting to become a Professional Hockey player.. An a Decent Human Being I like & respect this Sport of Sports & I have 400 Favorites of mine.. Although Bobby Orr really really Taught Me More about Just Being a " DECENT HUMAN BEING TO EVERYONE"".. in this lifetime of mine & Life.. God bless you 4 Number 4 forevermore forever.. Boston Garden, Chicago Stadium and Montreal Forum would have been 3 absolutely phenomenal places to see a hockey game! Not a bad seat in the house. Right up close to the action!
You can tell Bobby is 100% in his “happy place”. On skates, surrounded by a bunch of other hockey players. You get the sense that’s all he ever needed or wanted out of life
You know what's killing me, Bobby Orr is like my biggest hero, not only in sports, but in life. But I just can't get past his support for a fascist dictator pig. I'll never get past that. My childhood/lifetime hero has been reduced a notch in my book. Can't get past his support for the fascist.
