Fishing in Washington state. Mainly for bass but I go after just about anything.
The kayak I use is 7' 10" long. I'm about 5' 11" tall.
This is low budget fishing with a lot of the lures I use are made by me, found while fishing, bought on clearance or bought at thrift stores.

My PB is stuck at 6lb 9oz, got it a month back or so out of Ohop Lake. What side of Washington are you on?

I used to fish Ohop Lake from the shore for sunfish when I was a kid! I'm a bit too far these days to visit. Still on the West side but I prefer not to get too specific on social media.

The dinks would play with the jig a while before taking it under or moving it sideways. With the big crappie the bobber just disappears.

The quick pullback after your lure hits the cover often results in savage strikes. Would they have bitten if you didn't give the quick pull?

My first time fishing for smallmouth on the channel. There are only a couple lakes near me that have smallmouth bass so I don't go out for them much.

Trying out a tube. The fall rate is a bit slower than a trick worm. Even with a hole cut in it to allow the air to escape.
