I just found your channel a few days ago and i have binged your videos. 😁 Love your art and your process for everything. 💜 Keep it up. Also where do you get your sticker made? If you don't want to say that is fine i was just wondering. 😊
Yay!! Thank you so much!! I use a few different places for stickers but sticky brand for regular vinyl stickers is really good! (I’d steer clear of the holo/specialty ones) 💗💗
@@aspen_illustrates Thank you so much for the information. I'm trying to start my own online shop in October so I'm looking into places for manufacturers. 💜😊
Hi Aspen! Just wanted to say it’s so great to see another faceless art vlogger! We uploaded our first vlog a few days ago, so I know how much effort it takes! I was already a subscriber from my personal account, but just subscribed here too 🤍
Artist alleys are so exciting! I love your art style and your products are SUPER cute!! May I ask which brand of laminate you use for your stickers? They look so clear :O
Thank you!! Unfortunately I don’t have experience with laminate, but I’ve seen a few artists use Avery self adhesive laminating sheets, they look pretty clear from what I’ve seen online. I know finding the right materials can be tricky, good luck!! 💗
Hello! I love your content and art, and I find your in-depth convention prepping videos really helpful. Could you please share how you keep track of the inventory you sell at these conventions? I'd like to learn more about the process so I can help my partner more efficiently with their booths. Thank you! <3efficiently help my partner with their booths! Thanks <3
Hi!! Thank you so much, I’m really glad to hear they’ve been helpful! Prep can be a pain but I’m trying to make the process as smooth as possible. I’ll show how I set up my sheets & take inventory in the next video, but I basically just take a count of what I’m taking before the con and after instead of during.
@@aspen_illustrates Hi! I'm a huge fan of press on nails but am in need of tips to keep my natural nails healthy in between sets. I try to give myself a week off with no nails and use jojoba oil on them but I feel like I'm still wrecking my nail beds! I use the sticky tabs too 😔
I would definitely recommend two thin coats of a base coat before applying the sticky tab. If they pop off while you’re wearing them, it would take the base coat with it rather than layers of your nail plate. Hopefully you’re removing the nails safely when you’re ready to take them off. If you don’t reuse the press on nails, I’d soak them in warm water, the jojoba oil and a little bit of acetone before you pry them off and then use pure acetone to remove the leftover base polish. It’s not really necessary to take a break in between unless you’re willing to wait until the damage completely grows out. Once the nail plate has damage, it can’t be repaired, you just need to wait.
@@aspen_illustrates Ah I've tried applying base coats before but it makes the nail pop off so much more quickly and easily - they barely last me two days compared to a week without the base coat. I supposed that's I need to get used to if I want my nails to make it through okay! I definitely try to safely remove them with a long soak in soapy water plus jojoba oil, though I think that's where most of the damage still comes from.
Hmm, bummer about the base. I don’t personally use press ons, so i don’t have a ton to recommend other than applying as you usually do to make them last and use pure acetone to do a proper soak off. It will ruin the tips, but using acetone will break down those tabs and do much less damage to your nails than prying them off. The warm water and oil just loosens them but it’ll still take layers of your nail off with it. If you do soak them with acetone, just cut the length of the tips down first so it’s not a total mess lol you can look up a gel polish soak off video which should help if you decide to do that
I always let vistaprint make my prints. Its not always perfect, I had some issues before, but the service is awsome. Sometimes I would get a print with printlines, or the colors are off but they always helped me out and send me new prints for free. Even if mistakes keep repeading. At one time I ordered 4 designs, each 100 prints and only 1 design came out perfect. So I reached out to them. They send me new prints for free. Unfortunatly the mistakes kept repeading again and again. So the misprints kep pillingup at home. But they kept sending me print until they were perfect. And in the end I was able to recover many prints by making bookmarkt out of them.
Aw, what a sweet video. Moving is both exciting and stressful so I totally understand the feeling stressed and overwhelmed feeling. It’s so hard to be creative then, but your designs are adorable! Wow! Thanks so much for sharing your move and setting up your new place too!
