Yeah I heard about that story, a guy named John Darby supposedly came up with it. He may have invented the idea "rapture", but the Bible uses the words caught up which is the same thing. The words Caught up in the greek is harpazo which means to snatch away or take by force. So, according to the Bible, it will happen. Thanks for the comment!

Midnight Oil Song Lyrics..... We wait since the day He ascended He said He would come again Some think it will be such a long time Some think they know just when We live like there's no tomorrow We wait with our lamps of oil We watch for the midnight hour The day we cease our toil When the trumpet sounds And the bridegroom comes The weddings gonna be so royal So we gotta keep staying loyal Cause our feet are gonna leave this soil When we burn the midnight oil Burn the midnight oil Some wait from the top of the mountain Away from the world below Some work while there's still a harvest No rest when there's seed to sow We go out to wait for the bridegroom Some bring oil of readiness Some lamps will be burned out waiting Left out in there emptyness Will our lamps be full at parousia? When the bridegroom comes will hear the call
Hebrews 1: 7 - In speaking of the angels he says, “He makes his angels spirits, and his servants flames of fire! Jesus will be sending His servants to come catch us away! Praise God, can't wait!! See all brothers and sisters soon! Maranatha.
I watched your rapture dream first (it was in my suggestions) then watched this. I'm about halfway thru it as I type this and it sounds like you are a 'prodigal son'. But whoso shall cause one of these little ones who believe in Me to fall, it were better for him that a millstone were hung about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. He never left you He drew you back to Himself you're special to Him for knowing Him at the age of innocents.
Something to think about. "The dead in Christ shall rise first" - but christians believe the dead are in heaven or hell already, and that's because they don't know what death is. Even in Revelations we read "The rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished". They believed satan's first lie: you will surely not die. They don't recognize there are two gospels, one for Jews preached by Peter, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and the rest of apostles, and one for gentiles preached only by Paul (Galatians 2:7). Israel is the Bride and they will stay on earth because they will inherit the earth as promised, gentiles are the Body of Christ and they will be raptured and seated among the celestials. Christians are not believers. Do NOT join any christian church. Study bible with concordance on your own. According to the gospel of Paul, believers in Christ will believe in His Death for our sins and in His Resurrection. Christians don't believe ANY of that. Seems like they do, they say they do. But they believe in human free will - which negates Christ dying for sin. They believe you have to eliminate your own sins by believing in Christ. It's a direct contradiction. They don't believe Christ died, they believe in the Trinity, so they believe Christ is God. And we know God can't die so Christ didn't die - so they have to say His body died. So they deny the death of Christ. And since they don't believe in the death of Christ, they also can't believe in His Resurrection. They don't believe in Christ, they believe in their belief in Christ. There's a lot of bible quotes christians never heard of and when they read them they simply don't believe what they read, for example: 1 Timothy 4:10. I've learned it all from Martin Zender but there are others who understand it too, like RevaGo or Scott Hicko.
I need help with my just cause letter. I also had some super minor misdemeanors when I was 16-20. I got courtroom dispositions for each incident. Need to write an explanation for each. I’m in Orange County NY
Things have changed, I got my permit in Monroe County in 1974 it took all of three weeks from the day I turned in the paperwork until I got it in the mail. After all this time i just converted my paper permit to the new plastic permit because over the last 48 yrs i have sold and bought many guns and my paper permit was a mess. But, surprise, surprise the county records were also a mess and it took me a month to try straighten it all out. In NY you have to list the guns you own on your permit, well after all these years they didn't know what I had and didn't have. But getting my Pennsylvania non resident permit was a 20 minute affair.
I got this Bible and I love it. So easy for me to read, after a stroke messed up my vision. The Bible is big and heavy, but not as big as I thought it would be. The print is perfect and the paper is thick enough, that I can underline with my pens without bleed through. It does not have most of the notes at the bottom of the page that other ESV's have, but that is ok with me. I do take this to Church with me, even though I have a smaller ESV that I could take instead.
Thanks for the comment! Yea it took forever...no, they dont. This is normal process in my county. 9 to 12 months. Ive heard in other states people can get it almost the same day.
I got a application and everything but I don’t get how or when I’m supposed to do the finger print. I have an appointment for the application. Do I do it there on the day I have my appointment or am I supposed to do It before that day
I chose to do the fingerprints and finish the application and turn it in all in one day. If i remember right it doesnt have to all be done at the same time but its easier that way.
@@aaronbenton7 the reason it takes so long in N.Y.is that the sheriff dose a investigation on you and your character witness (that's why if possible that they also have a ccw permit because when the check on them it cuts the time down because if they have one and it hasn't been revoked they can stop there looking into to them because they must still be a upstanding citizen so it cuts the time down so ...you cant use a cop that is still a cop but if there retired you can use them) first stop once its put in is you local sheriff investigates it then it goes to the state police then off to the fbi they all look into to you and your witnesses from there it comes back to the county sheriff ..then it sits on the judges desk till he signs it ..it is one of the hardest permits to get meaning state by state i've had mine since i was 18 years old now you have to be 21 from what i hear..i worked at a gun shop and back then i found it funny that if you had a permit you couldn't buy from a gun shop till you were 21 but you could buy from a private owner ,you still had to add it to the permit the same way you did as if you bought it from a gun shop i believe that has changed to ..i just had to requalify my permit ,i never in 40 years had to do that till they started that recently and have to do it every five years .....still worth doing and i would make sure you put on the application that you want it for target shooting ,collecting and PERSONAL PROTECTION you don't want to have legal problems if god forbid you needed to use it for a life and death situation because you did have that on your permit , it won't stop you from getting the permit ..so don't forget one of the reasons is PERSONAL PROTECTION!!!
@@zilch7116 its done buy county if i move out of monroe i would have to take my permit to my new county and get a replacement from them even though its a n.y. state permit
I turned mine in to Clinton County, NY In the beginning of Jan 2019. The cost was stupid, Fingerprints $101.00, Pistol Permit Course $100.00, 2 photos $12.00, and application fee $15.00 for a total $228.00 . Now the 6-18 month wait. hopefully 6 months.
Hey congrats on getting it done! I think mine cost $140 or something like that. You are pretty far north. In Monroe County they dont require a safety course. I took one anyway, for my own peace of mind. It was helpful. It took me 11 months to get mine in the mail. Good luck with yours, hope it goes well for you.
About Luke being grumpy remember in one of the movies yoda said if you stop your training now you will end up like your farther or somthing like that so the grumpy ness could be because of that also I'm sick
kahasy baka yeah maybe but idk i think it didnt make sense that he was grumpy. He was not that way in the other movies! Luke is the ultimate jedi! He saved Darth Vader!!!
Why does my second amendment right cost money, require 4 random people to vouch for me, require fingerprinting, a day off of work, and 1+ years time waiting. This doesn't seem like a right.
0zfer i know it seems more like a priviledge than a right. It's easier for teenagers to get a driver's liscense. It takes a while because they want to make sure people are fit to posess and use a handgun. Because there are ppl like Stephen Paddock who just go crazy and kill 59 ppl. Thats why they make it a tedious process.
I could go down to the local gun shop and buy an ar15 'like' gun today and order a bump stock online no waiting. It's concealed carry that they make a pain in the ass. Background checks and metal health screening makes sense. Not all of it does.
As you know, your second amendment doesn't specify what type of firearm. Our 2nd Amend is alive and well thank God for any kind of long gun. I recently watched a video that showed admit ten British police officers surrounding but running away from a man with a knife, unable to do anything except try not to get stabbed. It made me really respect and be thankful for our 2nd Amendment as those officers looked like idiots as they tried to buy get stabbed. If those were American officers without weapons, I'd be ashamed, it was truly an embarrassment. The ability to carry a concealed firearm..handgun is, again as you know, quite a different thing than owning a long gun! Thank God we were born in the great USA 🇺🇸
@@mboyer68 Good luck carrying a long gun with you for self defense in commiefornia, The peoples republic of NJ, NY, or any other liberal state when they wont give you a handgun permit or allow you to carry. The second amendment not mentioning it doesn't give them the right to make it impossible.
I'm just a stones throw from you. I had gotten my concealed carry permit in 1986 and my 4 references weren't allowed to be police, or family and my father was both...lol from what I hear these days it takes an act of god to get a concealed carry permit. here in NY you are only allowed a 10 round magazine unless you are a criminal then you can use what ever size magazine you want! We aren't allowed to have a threaded barrel unless you are a criminal then you can put a silencer on it ! I can go on and on but I think you get the idea! Our governor Andrew Cuomo rolled our 2nd amendment into a cigar and smoked it, god help us all in this state...he has a son in politics...were doomed unless we wake up and do something about this ! common sense, you take an AR platform rifle and strip %80 of it to make it legal and charge 2 and a half times as much money for it...they are all in on it !
Sorry to hear y'all have so much trouble in New York but glad to hear you finally got it. Makes me thankful to live in a pro-gun state. My entire process in Alabama is go to the local Sheriff's office (Monday through Friday during normal business hours), fill out a very short application, submit it at the window, lady at the window reads through it and looks you up in the state's databases (takes all of 5 minutes) then signs off on it if you check out. Then you hand it to the person who issues the permit, sign the permit and pay a 20 dollar fee. I have my permit within 30 minutes of walking in the door depending on how many people are inside renewing permits. Been carrying for 16 years without a hitch.
Dang. Couldn't be easier. NY has some of the toughest, if not the toughest gun laws in the country. I actually agree with most of them. Look up the Webster Provision law. The arson/shooting here on christmas eve. 2 of My brothers friends responded to that call and one of them died.
You have to list four references that you have known for 3 years if I understand it correctly. Can they be blood relatives? What about non blood relatives that are aunts and uncles?
NJ1117 not sure if aunts or uncles count. i know the person cant be directly related to you or a significant other. i used four people frm my church who i'm not related to.
@@aaronbenton7 i believe bring a pistol into n.y. you have to have it shipped to a dealer with a FFL and you have to pick it up from them showing it is now registered in ny ..that's with pistol other wise your breaking the law ..if you have a n.y. pistol permit most but not all states recognize it ,you have to check what states will recognize it ..part of the reason we have all these hoops to jump through is money they want the money if you are moving permanently to another state you need there permit
I live in Rochester New York I've been waiting a year and 7 months and I still haven't gotten any phone calls from anybody and no one wants to help me find out what's going on
Rick P you're welcome. im no expert in this stuff just sharing my experience. Channel 8 news contacted me to do a story on this actually. go to www.rochesterfirst.com. Look for a story called the gun wait.
I live in Orleans county and am starting the permit procedure now, So far it sounds almost the same. Except I had to get my permit papers at the Public safety building just past the DMV heading West on the North side of 31 in case anyone had no Idea were to go to start the preceding. On another note I'm glad NY is strict on Pistols to a point. However I firmly believe that if you are a Veteran or VFW your permit should be moved to the front of the line.
yes I also like that they are strict on them. I feel that with the background check and everything they make you do it helps put guns in the hands of responsible people! I didn't mind the background checks at all. I welcome it. thanks for the comment, hope you get your permit!
Aaron Benton no not yet I just had 3 interviews 2 over the phone and 1 down at RPD with both officers and they was nasty like they had a problem with me and I told them this is holding up a job for me with srt security they made me show that I have a security license cause they say they never heard of them but the owners are cops and cops work there so they said it is gone take 1 day or 30 days for a judge to sign but they only called 3 references not 4 or my wife.
Shawndel Kinder yeah same they only called 3 out of the 4 for me also. i didnt have to do an in person interview he just asked me some questions over the phone. he did ask me about a few things they found on me but they werent serious. but he only talked to me maybe 5 minutes. called my references the next day and about 3 weeks later i had my permit.
Aaron Benton I hope it works that easy for me I got a clean record and they said mental health just release everyone records so that's why it took so long
