Hi I'm Martin Oguzie, welcome to my channel "Martin's Eye Tips"; and it's the perfect place to get general answers to your common eye care questions.

I started my career as a qualified optometrist back in 2000, in the United Kingdom where I live and work.

In that time I've worked in a whole range of optical practices, I've gone back to university to advance my studies with specialist postgraduate training in the co-management of cataract, low vision and aging, and ocular therapeutics. I've also owned and operated my own practices in the UK over the years and in 2012 I authored the book 'Eye Know' to answer the questions that I knew many people have about their eyes.

Despite a career spanning 20 years, I'm still very much fascinated by the human eye and the amazing processes behind how we're able to see.

**Subscribe** to my channel and please share so I can reach more people that may benefit from my eye tips. I would also love your comments and suggestions for future content.

Hi, you haven't posted in a long time. I wanted to ask if the movement of the floaters is still as fast now or has it returned to normal after you stopped taking bromelain. Thanks.

Hi Martin, I have been diagnosed with posterior vitreous detachment, but I do not actually see the floaters like wormd or strands, they produce blurry vision that comes and goescever few seconds, just like what you see and feel when you olace an ordinary eye drop in your eye... The eye doctor says the only solution is a vitrectomy but I know it is risky! Have you heard of cloudy vision that comes and gis do to floaters?

I was in the opticians getting them for the first time. They put them in my eyes first. I couldn't believe it. I was amazed at how well i could see. Then it was my turn to put them in lol. My hands were shaking and i was sweating and i was getting nowhere. they kept falling off my finger. The optician was getting frustrated with me and then i gave up and said i would come back and give it another go. I haven't been back since lol. I'm just sticking with my glasses. I would love to have contacts. But i don't want to go through that again.

My optician was getting frustrated with me too (how rude hey) -I kept dropping them, blinking, etc, etc, and having the optician loudly sigh & keep looking at her watch mumbling about how overdue she was for her lunch break was a real put off for me. I somehow managed to slam them into my eyes (I got so frustrated with myself that I stretched my eyelids as wide as I could & stuffed them in my eyes) my eyes were red raw. Being that my optometrist is a 2 and a half hour round trip for me to travel to, going back for another go was just too inconvenient. The optician's pointers were unhelpful, and it was a fluke that I managed to get them, enough to be given the 4 sets to take home for a trial (4 sets aren't anywhere near enough for a trial, you should be given a full month, to practice getting them in & out). I have had more success with all these helpful RU-vid videos, rather than the professionals that prescribed & dispensed the contact lenses for me. You should go to a different optometrist, one that is patient and helpful, and then give it another go (I'm slowly yet surely get better at getting them in and removing them, it just takes time and practice... ) good luck.

*I have successfully completed the Pineapple Challenge. 60days/3months. Did it work? Definitely YES. At first, like everybody I did not believe it would be possible to reduce floaters through a natural cure like pineapple, even though I saw youtube videos. Then later I came across, Taiwan Clinical Study which showed reduction of floaters by 70% those who have consumed Pineapple for 3 months. I researched more and find out that pineapple contains an enzyme which helps to reduce floaters. This clinical study and the youtube comments with a significant amount of people reported saying they found a reduction in floaters made me to start the Pineapple Challenge. At first, I started eating Pineapple for a week, I started eating pineapple 100grams ×3 slices, total of 300grams per day. This contains 900mg of bromelain. I found it difficult to measure out and get Pineapple from store each time, made it a huge task for me. Therefore my alternative option was to get bromelain supplement from Amazon which served the same purpose. The bromelain supplement I bought was named Amazing formulas. 500mg per serving, 120 total tablets. I'm just mentioning this because to make you guys understand how I took the supplement each day. It does not matter what brand you get as long as it is bromelain enzyme. I started having one tablet in the morning as I wake up, 500mg and one in the night time, when I go to sleep. A total of 1000mg of bromelain each day. Since my brand of supplement, contained 120 tablets, I had to buy 1 more of the supplement because it only lasts for 2 months. So technically, I have completed the Pineapple 120 days/4 months. My results was just unbelievable, I have like 80 percent reduction in floaters that's crazy. Taiwan study say like 70percent, maybe because I have consumed more. It is a dose dependent natural cure, means more u have higher likely of success. I'm a young person, I had stable floaters for 2 years, for me how it developed was through heavy video gaming, heavy digital eye strain, sad but true computers can get you eye disease even at a young age. I could not look at a white sky, blue sky, I tried to avoid looking up the sky because it was filled with floaters everywhere, it was just horrible especially when you have so much life ahead of you. I was depressed, I was dead inside as eyes are the major part of our life as we see everything. This made me to realize the importance of eye, and stopped the gaming addiction as well. This is a good advice to the young folks out there. Technically my floaters is reduced by 80% and yes the 20% is still there but I have to observe like the magnifying glass or concentrate like I'm meditating to find out if I have any. I don't see at all, it's really difficult to find at day to day life. I can look at white sky, blue sky again and not at all visible anymore like the time before I developed floaters. Everybody should try this and find out yourself. I also found out from the Taiwan study that 30% of people might not see any difference at all because of how our body works, not everyone is same. That should not stop you from trying it out, you have nothing to lose. Try it and share it in the reply section of my comment. Good luck guys!*

I really appreciate the Martin's honesty. I expected a pitch for the product and was happy to hear this is not a cure-all BS medicine. Sounds like Martin has symptoms of getting older. If you have had an incident of floaters, likely more will develop.

I am 34 years old, on my left eye after I gave birth I started to have a weiss ring. There is a point and a circle. I went to doctor and they gave me Lysin to use, after 1 year I have now on my left eye as well some black points and eye floaters. I am afraid they will be more and more, I can live with them I just want to stop this! Facts: I am looking to pc screen more than 15 hours everyday last 6-7 years I think this is the main issue.

I am upset about the eye floaters in my right eye. I don't want to go completely blind. And me to lose what independence I have left. I started to get floaters in my right eye. I have the problem the worst when I'm out in the sun. Or in bright lights I notice them at times.

Hello mister Oguzie My name is Susana, and I live in California, I suffer of myodesopsia and I’ve trying to get a consultation with doctor Sebag but because I have Medical insurance, which is for people of low income, they refused to schedule an appointment, even when I told the receptionist that I would pay from my pocket, because I am desperate to know if I qualify to be in the VDM project, my mental health is no good due to my eye floaters. Could you let me know what can I do, or if there are any other kind of resources for me. I want to thank you in advance for your help in this matter.

<-- 38 at time of writing this. Had my first floater appear after getting a procedure done to remove a wood splinter from my left eye when i was a child. (around 8 years old ish.) But that was provoked by the medical procedure, so doesn't really count. Since then though, at around 16 I started to notice the floater was multiplying and soon had two floaters in my left eye and 1 floater in my right eye. Now at 38 years of age, I have lots of floaters in both eyes, more than I can count. Usually not an issue as my brain cancels them out most of the time. When I get tired though, oh boy... looks like a forest moving after moving my eyes. Perfectly fine vision otherwise. If there was a true solution to this, I would love to hear about it. (something that doesn't involve surgery or lasers, not looking to worsen my sight.)

Thank you. My left eye developed floaters last year and today, whilst stuck in traffic, the right eye has it now. Exactly like cobwebs and flashing lights. Had eye exam a few months back, was told the left eye showed no damage but to let them know if any changes occur.

So, Ladys and Gentleman, here is the guy with the real BADASS floaters on planet earth. My Eye-Doctor said to me she never saw this amount (up to 60-70) on one person as mine in about 20,21,22 (i dont know) years shes doing her job. So. Here are MY tips to get rid of 80-90%: 1: I found this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1cHjvtp1vc4.html I do it 2 x times a day and yes, thats a big deal. 2: I got 3 Yag-Laser sessions for both eyes (about 1600-2400€ in good old germany). That was enought, to be able to not quitting life ... but its far away from good its ok now. I am a programmer, which means I used to life in white rooms, with warm light and looking on white screens the whole day (I love my life!) - so, get Chrome, get extension like "Dark reader". Buy sunglasses and - wear them at night. Dont forget you now have a reason to be cool. And there are some more options: 1. this one here in the video 2. you can try a vitrctomie, where a part of your eye with the collagen is sucked out. But beware, theres the risk to get a cataract after that in som ecases (which is also operable but...hmm). And last but not least. Pray. (I mean it like I say it) for help and a solution. The one good thing in universe I figured out is that in our multi dimensional life there MUST be millions of solutions for one problem. And yes, they are there, you need to find them. So, go and find them (and dont forget to tell me!). If you dont know none of the tips above: they will change your life dramaticaly. The video from austin helps immiditaly (and in 2,3 days) the Laser-Vitrectomy as well. No big thing. You walk in with fear and 10 minutes later you are a new person. Good Luck!
