Sand will destroy blower Shouldnt even take it apart unless its broke a friend put 1000000 miles on his and still going 5-7 wheel lol mine 160000 so use your head forced induction needs 0 porting or bigger valves as per B&M even bigger cam
Bubba if it says B&M on front of Blower its a 144 Teflon Bladed Supercharger It makes 12o Hp with 5-7 psi wheel 350 hp 450 Tork on low compression 350 the fill bolt is weep hole that will leak a little allways the oil tank is open so if you turn upside down it will dump all oil out overfill and engine will burn oil over flow and best leave fill hole open till its done leaking and clean oil off manafold or hose off
If you have problems go to old v belts setup on water pump alt and steering dont rev in nuetral or it will blow them off originally the tensioner was on blower snout
Do you need to add thread sealant to the rocker studs? I installed a set of those heads on my SBC 350 and now I am getting oil on all of my spark plugs. No coolant loss and compression checks out good.
If your threads go all the way through I would, I don’t think these do, if yours do I would put something on them.. if your getting a lot of oil, something else is going on
I’m about to buy these heads to swap onto my 1980 small block Corvette. After using them, what could you say about their performance? Would you recommend them? What’s your opinion on them? Thanks!
Well, how's it holding up several months later? Looking to buy a cover but so much Chinese junk these days, you never know what you're getting anymore Lol. Thanks for vid
Bubba, Thank you for posting this video. I am rebuilding a B&M 420 for my BBC 468. I am looking for the torque specs for reassembly. Thanks in advance for your help, and thanks again for the blower video.
I don’t have them on hand for a 420, I’m sure there out there on the net or contact The Blower Shop, they have everything and anything I think.. I’ve only built these smaller blower/supercharged engines.. Thanks for watching and I’ll have more videos up soon 👍
I was next to you on 170 today. I yelled hey but my Ranger work truck doesn't have power windows. 😂 Deaf ears and all that... Been watching your videos for a bit while I've restored a couple of C10s. Appreciate ya!
Hey brotha question what was the part number for those traction bars?? Or how long are they 28 inches -30 inches? i have a 84 C10 I'd like to install those on thanks in advance and great video brotha
If you polish it apart I could wear parts down. Then it won’t seal up properly. Some people will stay in one spot too long and it could leak around gaskets.
Why didn't you pull the drawers to load. Then put back in after loading. Set the top next to bottom box on trailer. Then pull the drawers at home to unload? It would be much easier, safer and faster.
