It takes time to get to know people and feel comfortable with them as such he is quiet to begin with but when he warms up and gets to know people he is very friendly and engaging with them. He was like this in Unique, the Day Day Up team, and it’s not just The Untamed where he was talkative with his Co-stars, if you watch the behind the scene on his films since then he has become more talkative. He has also got older and more confident in himself and his abilities as an actor as such he is naturally becoming and being more interactive with the people he works with. He is also respectful of people’s boundaries and personal space as such he stands away from people until he gets to know them.

I must say this, they have come a long way now. At first, zhan reallly had to give a lot of thought. Yibo was honest and transparent. No doubt on that, but zhan felt dd's affection is more like an impressive reactions. He is young and very talented. So there comes insecurities, age factors, long distance and forbidden romance due to their country. After that the big mess of being boycotted. Its their biggest challenge. They are really one of a gem couple who worked on their goals and relationship aswell❤ It can happen only if both work on their relationship together and they did it. Proved it. ❤ Also, Their sincere love made their careers strong as well❤ 😊😊😊
You meant "impressed" reactions, like an infatuated fan boy reactions which Xiao Zhan couldn't really take too seriously initially. As for the rest, although there are some signs and coincidences, I don't believe we can really know whether they are together or not. The long distance, being apart from each other for long periods of time, not being able to show up together in public, having to constantly hide their relationship (if there was/is such a relationship), never being able to openly show it, not to mention the impossibility of a marriage, and huge pressure from fans and the general public factors still remain. I think it may be extremely difficult to develop a real relationship in such circumstances, and even more difficult to keep it going. So, even if they were in love/infatuated with each other at some point or actually were a couple, that doesn't mean that they still are. May just be too difficult and even unrealistic for them to stay together.

I think people forget that Yibo was very close to all the members of UNIQUE and when they could no longer go on he most probably felt lost and remember he was 18/19 years old when this happened and when he filmed the untamed he was 20 and Xiao Zhan became a close friend like his old band mates.
