I can't listen to Vicki's commentaries - she regurgitates facts and statistics about previous matches during her commentaries, but offers no insight about the match she's commentating on. The most annoying part about listening to her is when she doesn't stop speaking at the end of a sentence, then pauses to breathe in the middle of her next sentence. I find it ironic that she can post a video suggesting what makes a good commentary when it's clear that many people switch off when they hear her commentaries!
Incredible how different she sounds when doing commentary when her voice is much deeper and with male sounding speech patterns to me. Great way to teach / encourage young women into the role....ie you just need to try and sound like a man.....

She’s killing football, as soon as i know she’s commenting i switch the channel to talksport.. And to hear her criticise Messi at 2022 World cup for a decision he made on the pitch? it just says it all really..
The idea that a single commentator is killing football is interesting, and also rather unlikely. I suspect what she's probably doing is making some men with fragile egos feel a bit uncomfortable about how they are no longer really all that relevant.

Alex scott, played the game, brilliant presenter and a wonderful irepresentive of ladies football and many other things too, shes superb, when she presents she tends to ask MEN who have played MENS football their thoughts, rather than, never having played the Women’s game let alone men’s football tells men what they are doing wrong etc, sorry screech’s rather than tell.. However how many times do you see Men presenting the ladies games on TV, rarely.. Gabby Logan another great presenter.. Presuming you’re not a Pilot by trade ? would you tell one he or she is doing everything wrong? The problem is in this PC world any of us Guys who in the main luv females make a criticism or suggestion we are anti women or raciest or bully’s or anti gay etc … ? And for what it’s worth, i can’t stand Gary Lineker and i’ve followed footie since the 60’s…

Brendan Rogers made a Good Girl comment to a female BBC reporter the other month, when asked she said she had no problems with it, but the next day the feminist brigade were up in arms about it on Talksport.. Fragile egos? If the cap fits….
Not sure he has been that much of a success at Newcastle or Brighton, he wasn't at either for that long so I question his loyalty. If anything he might not have achieved much at Newcastle after the Hall and Tonali signings, selling ASM for under market value. He was only at Newcastle for three transfer windows and one of them they didn't sign anyone. If he is overseeing the Physios then what happened with Isak, Murphy, Wilson, Botman all players who were brought back too early. He sold Wood without signing a replacement, as a result Newcastle have only had one striker fit all season, at times no striker fit. Think Newcastle can do better than him and if they get £20m then will allow them to sign an £80-£100m player under FFP rules according to Darren Eales. Means they will have less pressure to sell key players. This might end up being a blessing in disguise.
