"A MARK IN TIME CONCERTS" is a free music channel dedicated to one of the worlds most recognisable and in our opinion, "best" singer / songwriters -- and quite a handy guitarists going. Enjoy these videos, but please ALWAYS buy an artists official releases.
We hope you enjoy our channel and understand that the quality of videos vary from very poor to OK. The equipment used and other circumstances aren't always in favour of better recordings.
Two things usually you can’t hear an English accent when they are singing and this is wonderful. He is better off without Juliet because she is a gold digger Mark Knopfler. You are the best ever.
Io c'ero a quello della sera prima ... Attaccato alla balaustra... Quando uscii Mark con il pugno alzato la fascia ed il suo sorriso fu una emozione fortissima ...
I bought the "Missing...Presumed Having a Good Time" record when it came out in 1990 and it has stayed with me all these years as one of my favorite records. It's a shame that The Notting Hillbillies only released one record, but that being said, the one we have is absolutely fantastic. I love the vibe of the record and it's fantastic driving music. Speaking of driving music, this was one of two new record releases that I took with me on a major road trip in the western United States in 1990. The second record was "Still Got the Blues" by Gary Moore. The trip went from LA to Denver via the Grand Canyon and back again via SLC and SF. It was hot and we drove a convertible. It was a relief when we reached the wooded areas a little west of Lake Tahoe where the country road winds through tall spruce forest. Right there, the song "Feel Like Going Home" came out of the loudspeakers almost at the same time as we passed an area called Little Norway. I definitely felt that what I saw was like home even though I was on the other side of the globe. A great experience linked to fantastic nature and, not least, incredibly nice music.
Great documentary, I saw this tour in Sydney 1991 and it was an excellent performance. The crowd wasn't as vocal as they were in Paris though, that was a great atmosphere.
Have you ever noticed that there is an "hidden" A Minor at the end of this song, during the very last part of the solo ? Right after the break (in the middle of the final solo), Clapton plays D Minor / B Flat / C ... AND an A Minor (clearly seen at 15.11 minutes), then plays the regular D Minor/B Flat/ C : one time the "first shape", one time the "second shape", etc. This is the only version arranged this way.
Dal Salento Primo concerto in trasferta Luigino Fabio Gianni Luca sotto il diluvio universale fulmini e saette ma resistemmo e fu indimenticabile e unico..... Grazie a chi lo ricorda ❤
A very nice man, outstanding guitarist (the most gifted one, in my opinion) and fine poet; his pout turning into smile was charming, his stage presence was so captivating: a living legend, no question
