As an abstract painter, I am interested in exploring the emotional and expressive potential of color and form. I believe that abstract art has the power to connect with viewers on a deeply personal level, bypassing the constraints of literal representation. In my work, I strive to create a sense of balance and harmony, using a combination of gestural brushstrokes and structured forms. I enjoy the process of layering and building up the surface of the canvas, allowing the paint to take on a life of its own and guide the direction of the piece. I am inspired by the natural world, as well as the emotional and psychological states that we experience as humans. I aim to create a sense of atmosphere and mood in my work, inviting the viewer to engage with the painting on a deeper level and draw their own interpretations. Ultimately, my goal as an abstract painter is to create work that is expressive, evocative, and open to interpretation.
