Sorry I missed the live :D was chillin' in bed, waiting for the Ravens game, and one of my cats occupied my lap. You know how it goes, cat on your lap and you can't move :D Anyway, congrats on the win! Glad I picked the right team to win :D
You called it. Continued improvement. Better scheme/playcalling. Finally some rushing yards. Bears should thank you for that key breakdown that paved the way to victory. 🏆
What a smart offensive mind might try.. Caleb under center. Split running backs of Swift and VELUS. Motion Velus out wide. If a LB tries to cover him, try to pass to Velus. If it's a S, either run or perhaps play action and hit Kmet on the other side of the field. Try to create some sort of mismatch. The Bears never do anything innovative like that.
We are all upset- this should have been an easy win. We need to take a chance and either get Bill Belichick as HC or Kliff Klingsbury to develop Caleb- i don't think Ryan Poles needs to be around either due to his arrogancy in getting rid of Fields for nothing. 😂
I feel like a dope for getting suckered in by the EberLose beard on hard-knocks into thinking maybe I've misjudged them from last year, but apparently my initial gut instincts were right. He is a defensive coordinator who has assembled a terrible staff and doesn't take enough accountability for the teams regular poor performances.
This is when you put on tape from 1985 and watch week to week in place of the actual season. That way you know you’ll have a happy ending! Good luck to yal in Chicago. Love the passion you show for your team. That’s beautiful
I couldn't watch anymore after the 4th and goal option toss. No wonder why DJ Moore is totally frustrated. CW clearly isn't pro ready. The playcalling is terrible. Passing is supposed to be a vertical thing -- not horizontal. OL can't block. Typical Bears. They look hopelessly lost out there. So glad I took a step back from all of this drama or I'd be losing my mind. Poles continuing to prove he's the best Assistant GM in the NFL...but not ready to wear the big boy pants and call the shots. How can an "OL guru" have the worst OL in the league? Let us take all take a moment to appreciate the beating Fields took...just to be thrown under the bus by the organization and media.
As a Texans fan, props to Caleb for trying and taking massive hits. But that Oline is garbage. They couldn’t create running lanes for the Swift. 10 attempts for 30 yards! 7 sacks, multiple hits…. The play calls were horrible.
On a side note, doesn't it seem like the refs TRIED to do all they could to keep the game close? Clearly the NFL wants CW to be a winner. He's pretty bad if he can't even win when they are rigging the game in his favor.
Not going to hold my breath on the media and fans to apologize and admit they were DEAD WRONG about the JF vs CW decision. It's obvious that CW is nowhere near ready to "win now." He's not some "walk on water" savior. Mahomes? Rodgers? He's the JV version of JF. Team should be 0W 2L and even Bears fans know it. The red flag was the team trading JF because they admitted CW couldn't emotionally handle competing for the job. Anytime someone gets a job/promotion without earning it, bad things ensue. 💯 Good news for CW is that he isn't the biggest draft bust on the roster. Rome O. is God awful. He was supposed to be some mega star like Justin Jefferson. For an alleged "OL guru," Poles doesn't have a *CLUE*. The OL has been consistently terrible year in year out. So teams know they can just stack the box and blitz and the Bears have no answer. Some things just never change. The Bears...are the Bears.
CW like only 5yds per pass attempt. Can't even pass for 150yds unless he has 40+ pass attempts. Can't even rush for 25yds. Equity in the team?!? smh Fields did a lot MORE with a lot LESS talent around him. Undeniable reality.
Sending well-wishes your way regarding your health. It's unfortunate that you have to endure something like that considering there have been multiple ways to cure cancer that have existed for decades. But it's more profitable for companies to only promote more profitable "treatment" plans that are far less effective and have a lot of adverse side effects. This world/reality we live in is corrupt. How the Bears organization handled the Fields/CW decision is just 1 example. I have vowed to never support corrupt people & organizations that do people dirty. Help truth see the light of day. No longer looking the other way with the things I cannot change. Advocating for changing the things I cannot accept.
