I've been out a couple of days the last month that was over 102, and it was pretty miserable. I stayed in the shade the whole time. It's been really nice here in northeast OK the last couple of days.

I love the axes because they are what developed the land on those homesteads. It was timber when they arrived, and with axe in hand, they cleared the land with ox and mule and axe to create farms on which they could live. I love military buttons because there is never no telling what battles those ww1 (or whatever war) soldiers fought in that war that button

I figured finding some gravel bars or some old trade areas where boats stopped to drop commodities. For now I’ve been hunting some 1890’s homesteads using an app that lets me overlay a 1900’s map and using GPS. So far it’s been dead on.

It's pretty wet, windy, and dark here as well. We need the rain, though. The wind never stops blowing in Oklahoma.

I still love finding them. I have a box of them by now. I haven't found a Kansas or Missouri token yet. I've found Colorado and Arizona.

I'm about 40 minutes from Tulsa

I usually find 3 or 4 at every old house I detect. I've found them from Oklahoma, Colorado, and Arizona in the same town here in Oklahoma.

Most coins I find are on the sidewalk strip. And it's usually permissible to detect all sidewalks between the concrete and the road because it's city owned property

And an even better place is when they tear up an old sidewalk
