It's so simple and yet so effective, just a man battling with his thoughts, holding an innocent, knowing what he must do but struggling to do it until he remembers who he's fighting for...and then he's alone carrying with the cruelty of what he's doing. Amazing work! The baby looks so cute, it's so heartbreaking, Odysseus is carrying him with so much tenderness and care, ugh this song always hurt.
Helpful tip: thinking about Andromache being taken away from her burning kingdom crying her eyes out as she see’s her baby boy being thrown down the wall and to his death can make you cry 10x harder :D
@@HelloThere-cz9ti Well, we must all be masochists because we love Epic despite it making us suffer. Therefore, a tip that makes us suffer more... masochists might like that I guess?? But I see your point..😭😭

@@CyrahLia_459 It was not a random child, it was a son of Prince Hector, whom they were fighting during the Trojan War. Zeus manipulated Ody into doing this
Yes. It wasn't a random child, but for him the child had no particular significance. But yes, Zeus very VERY much manipulated him into doing it :) Like, come on. "I'll make sure his past is never known" "The GODS WILL make him know" Like... REALLY?! Zeus, you are HORRIBLE
@@garabatosxd Listen at 1:05, this version is: I'm just a man, who's trying to go home Deep down I would trade the world to see my son and wife. The actual song: I'm just a man, who's trying to go home Even after, all the years away from what I've known I'm just a man, who fighting for his life Deep down I would trade the world to see my song and wife.
Unless this was done on comission, then it's basically free art. Time is money, so if people really like it, maybe they can consider aiding the artist financially, and maybe if it's requested enough by a large enough audience or by those financially supporting them, then maybe they'll get back to it sometime. I think it's still cool enough to give it a like.
