Hey bro this review made me want to buy these gloves but the proboem is im not sure that these gloves are for a box bag. Are they for box bag work and mits or more for sparring? If they are for box bag and mitts pls answer cuz i need special gloves.
I think they are just training gloves to do a bit of everything, they seemed pretty decent for the money as a do a bit of everything glove, For a tiny bit more the Venum Challenger 3.0 is another good option (I have a review for those on my channel too) thanks for watching!
I'm 6 foot 3, I'd recommend 16oz for general training, these are good if you are getting used to them for amateur fights but these are more fight gloves than training gloves, Thanks for watching!
Is the padding sufficient enough to not cause any hand discomfort during heavy bag use ? Because I'm not sure weather to get these or the extra padding version for longevity... and for £300 I don't want to risk it lol. Think I'm going fairtex bgv9 for £120. Bargain.
To be fair they are pretty solid not the best for bag use, Mexican gloves usually are quite solid, I recently got some Hayabusa T3 Tokushus and they are exceptionally comfortable and protective
@@JBA_203 I'd say 80% of my boxing training is heavy bag work, so I need a glove that's durable enough and can protect my hands. While also being a sparring glove. The Cleto seem perfect, but the price is a huge turn off.
They are a very tight glove I must admit, I had to stuff a towel into each glove so the hand compartment would be more roomy when I first got them, very protective though for sure
@@JBA_203 I’ve been doing martial arts for almost 10 years and boxing for nearly 7 of those so I’m not to worried about damaging my hand but more about how the gloves r gonna feel when punching the bag as I’ve been using 16 ounces for the longest time haha and gonna have to punch differently with different technique with the bag gloves
