These were some monsters!!! I watched this yesterday up until 10 mins lol and then got caught up in something else. Finished today! Every single fish was a good one!
Few reasons normally. #1: Helps keep tension on the fish especially when trolling for salmon out here in BC as we have to fish with barbless hooks #2: You have the chance of getting multiple fish on at once when you keep the boat in gear and trolling. Cheers, Kaleb
The new resort owners have destroyed this lake with it recently opening to ice fishing and allowing 70 guy tournaments...every single one of them keeping their limit and the largest fish.....i won the summer derby here in 1994 and 1997......used to be able to,get 8lb plus fish.....now lucky to get 3 to 4 pounders....the owners greed has ruined this fishery and stunted stocks now.....was talking to a guy at freds tackle about this today.....both guys at the counter agreed as well The lake used to be closed to fishing winter until may 15 and the fish wwere far bigger because of this Greed and mismanagement......the DFO way
