the beginning of the end for this song in a live setting. the backing drum track kills all the groove and emotion, plus Robin's guitar work on this one sounds too conventional compared to Aaron's... at least the visuals during this leg of the tour were great
Ngl, I liked this version tbh. But yes. The better version will remain back in the With Teeth era. Also some love to how the song was plays during the LITS era as well. The backing track sounds so fucky and out of sync and I guess I never noticed truly even after seeing a ton of Tension 13 concerts.

Holy Shite!!! This order of live songs is one of the best I’ve ever heard, and the band playing them with a cultivated rawness and “coming out the other side” experience. Fun, jagged, and jeweled; rhythmic, serpentine, visceral, and energetic - a pure dose of NIN.
How many bands in the genre has maintained a degree of consistency as a live band than NIN. Not many can stake a claim to that and then some. Anyways, I enjoyed this one.
Absolutely MADE UP that they played this size. They could fill the arenas but dont want to, this was one of the best shows I've seen. A million times better than the AO etc
That would be awesome, but I've seen NIN in every type of venue there is, and I - like TR - prefer the sound in theaters and amphitheaters. Basketball arenas and football stadiums have a very echoey sound when you're far away, and when you're close it's too loud so everything is distorted.
