Hi Rudy, on the third folder 3-Plugins64 With DirectOutput64, there is an extra folder for DirectOutput64, I am assuming that this will be installed later ? Thanks for the directions, much appreciated.

I upgraded my playfield monitor and had to flip the screen the opposite way for the install. I used Nvidia to flip the video of the monitor and all is well. Mostly...However, now when I record playfield videos, they are displayed upside down. Do you know if there is a way to flip the orientation during the record screen process so it displays correctly? I tried editing the recordstart.bat file but it didn't work. Not really sure what to do. Also, when I try to use the flip screen 180 degrees conversion as a work around, it cuts the framerate in half (60 to 30fps). Kind of stumped on this one. :(
@@rudysarcade when I use that option it cuts the framerate in half as well as reduces the picture quality. I like to my playfield videos in 60fps and to retain the original resolution. Is there something I can add to the rotate bat file to retain the fps and quality?
With Pinup Popper, how do I change my Default Launcher for VPX to 10.8 ? I know how to make an ALT-Launch for a particular table to 10.8, but I want 10.8 to be the default. How do I do that?
@digitalvictory8266 you can just change the name of the exe in the emulator launch script but everything is not compatible with 10.8 so I wouldn't advise it.

In my case, I JUST installed everything w Baller Installer and I'm keeping my selections to pretty much modern, newly created tables. So I did what you said and it worked GREAT! I'll use the ALT for any older tables I add (talking to you, Evel Knievel and Captain Fantastic!) - thanks again Rudy!
Ruddy ,I really need some help im following your instructions to the best of my ability and i cant get vpx x emulator to run table .I keep getting this error line 1323 active x cant create object,ultra dmd object.duplicate definition found function vol ball line 970 function vol ball line 991.
buddy, how can i run baller installer again without losing my setups? i might need to reinstall windows. And where do I put the recordings with bat files folder?
@cinetici if you already on the latest baller just run the install and then just copy all of your setup back over top. Bat files go in then popper record folder
@rudysarcade I follow your update video from awhile back still to this day. Lol I can't help myself. And it's all.your fault. Hahaha 😆 My.rtx3090fe Is not even breaking a sweat. I literally run all my tables using vpx64 dx edition. Everytime I update a table etc. Lol.
Rudy, what if we want both, what's the easiest way to have the b2s showing version and the pup pack version right next to each other? Would be just create a vpalias? Call it whatever we want, maybe just put a letter "p" on the gamename. Save it in our Vpalias.txt. then just open the table, change the name in the script to the puppack name, and then just follow this new b2 feature? Would that work? We would also need to copy and paste, then rename the actual file also to have both choices inside popper right?

Hello, can you help me? I want to reinstall VPX from scratch because I messed something up during the last update. My question is what should I install and what should I not install from the provided files, and in what order should I proceed? I am only using two monitors, so I don't have a cabinet, and I just want to set up B2S, colored DMD, and nothing else. Please tell me what to install and in what order. Thank you very much.
Aren't you killing your images by making the x and the yz not the same. I'm in the process of shrinking them down to be closer to the same, but while my x axis doesn't take up the entire playfield, the images look more realistic.
@@rudysarcade Thank you for this. I spent quite a bit of time making sideblade art with your mesh. Interesting difference from you, I found myself looking at a -6 or -7 for the Window Bottom setting. Although it makes the inward angle towards the back more obvious, it creates a feeling of depth that the table is deeper than it really is. Any thoughts on this? Ramps seem further away which too me adds to the reality. The downside is my apron art is somewhat wider and thicker than normal.
Ugh... every time i record a fullDMD a playfield video is saved. Nothing is being recorded for the backglass. I extracted the bat files to launch folder and i know they are being executed from the operator menu as windows didnt trust the files. What is happening?
Thank you so much for all your efforts. They're really helpful and appreciated! Only think I have on some tables is that the ball gets really big when it is in the lower part of the playfield. So big that things seem off. Not sure on how to correct it. Keep up the good work!
Can you share where you got that Desktop picture? I've got popper playlists sorted by machine type, and I need a good image for Solid State machines. That looks perfect!
Not really much you can do.. you can force the screen to always be full-screen but then you couldn't use Tarc loading and you would need full screen loading videos for everything

looks different with your blades, take them out and the pov change is barely visible, im not gonna upgrade my gpu for 10.8 if the jump is this small, thanks for the comparison! im staying in 10.7
Hi Rudy: Just wanted to say THANKS for all of your videos but especially for this one!!! Made updating easy. I did run into one problem, I run in VR and the openvr_api64.dll provided in this update stopped my VR from working correctly. I had made a backup of my files, I simply replaced the file with my backup and it was back to working.

Tanks for the explanation. I have a question...In the latest versions of tables in vpx 10.8 there is no way to disable siderails. Is there any way to do it? Example Godzilla VPW etc
