FCUK the EU, honestly, all they can accomplish are sanctions, and tariffs. What happened to the free market? While covid was here, europe also subsidized company’s because otherwise they went bankrupt, and now they going to blame China for protecting their business? They rather let us , EU citizens , pay unaffordable prices for the green deal, which they impose to us, then let the free market flow, it’s only free when money flows their way. Otherwise ‘ Mutti Ursula ‘ comes out. China should quit producing car parts for EDM cars, the EU politicians don’t realize how many chinese parts are in EDM cars, if they do this, there won’t be another new european car rolling off the factory floor,at least not one that starts when you turn the key. Without China, EDM cars will be even more expensive and will price themselves even further out of the market.

NIO has a design office in Munich, Germany and a software and hardware development office in St Jose, CA, and I think they are working on setting up assembly plants in Hungary. So they should be least impacted by the tariffs, at least they have some bargaining power to lower their tariffs.

Hey Mitch, Congratulations!! I think that NIO is an awesome company. Problem is that the US is actively anti China, & isn't hiding it!! This imho crosses over into the stock market. Hopefully when profitable NIO gets a fair valuation. All evidence is up until this point imho is that NIO stock is only a fraction of what it should be.. This I think we can agree on?
