In Aikido there are two ways of practising; static and moving (ki no nagare). Neither one of them alone is "real aikido", I think as an Aikidoka you should be able to do both, and apreciate both, to know what is "real aikido."
The title says 1982. It’s David Alexander Sensei translating. I think this is from a summer camp in Sweden. It’s a little hard to see, but it looks like Ulf Evenås Sensei standing in the background. It also looks like some of the other high ranked Swedish aikidoka that Saito Sensei is using. The man with the slightly lighter colored beard that Saito Sensei is using as uke a lot looks like Peter Lysell, from Gothenburg.
Your missing many different angles. The Octagon. 8 Directional Movement. Using left and right starting point. Creates a total of 16. Add more jo work. And you can have 1,2,3,4, blocks and strike in all 8 direction. THE OCTAGON.

This is Bruce Klickstein, I have read that is currently a persona non grata in the aikido world and was stripped of his rank due to sexual offences. He may even be in jail now. A sad story, as he is obviously a talented aikidoka.
