Hi 👋 my question is : if you go through this program and failed in your 1st test i was told they will give you another 3 weeks so if you failed again for a 2nd time what will happen after that ?
For those wondering, I was in the program. 1. Get off bus and get some paperwork 2. Go to a company u are assigned (most likely alpha company) 3. Uniforms and stuff issued and taken to the PX to buy hygiene 4. Depends what battalion and company are doing a pick up, u will get on a bus and will be told to put ur head down by ur new drills. 5. Mini shark attack once u arrive to ur new battalion. 6. Treated like if ur in BCT. 7. Stay in class and go to chow and PT in the morning everyday except for Sundays. 8. Take a sample test every Saturday and once it’s time to take the test which would be on a Tuesday u will go to GAT or another testing facility. 9. They will announce who passed and who didn’t after lunch chow. 10. Whoever passed goes to look at jobs. 11.BCT ships that Friday in the same test week and OHSET ships Tuesday of next week. 12. Recycles are moved to another company and retake the test there. Note: I was in 2nd Battalion 39th infantry Bravo company. 2-39 is just like BCT. There is another battalion I believe it’s 3-34 that is 09 mic as well but they are more soft so just keep that in mind. 2-39 is in a split cycle rn so Alpha, Charlie, and Delta companies are BCT and Bravo and Echo are future soldier prep. Bro i will be in the same im in the navy tho my ship on jan8,2025 but i have to do 3 weeks program to get my score up They told me i still need to do my 10weeks bmt plus the 3 weeks program i mean i like it ofcourse i want to improve my score
@@jefitness4995 for me it did but not at the same time because I was one of the first groups of 09 mic after BCT so the drills were still in their BCT behavior so we got smoked like everyday but I did improve in score so yes it helps, I recommend to learn words and reading because those are the heaviest categories that are scored higher

After the hearing test at MEPS, I didn’t do any at Reception. I am not sure if it’s been changed that they do. However, if in case you request just like I did request for another eye exam I’m sure they will schedule you to do the hearing test as you in Reception. Not 💯% sure though

Hello, I leave for this program for the navy in two months. I have a low score on the asvab and the recruiter picked me a job. Can I change that job after I went for this program?
Idk if I’m too late on this but there are 2 battalions that do this program. 2-39 and I think it’s 3-34. I was in 2-39 and u get ur phone every Sunday for 1hr and 30min but if you guys fuck up throughout the day then time will be removed. Wednesdays u get it for 30 mins. But Wednesday is up to ur drills if they want to or not. I believe 3-34 is more like soft and gives u more time on ur phone and not a lot of “BCT” like treatment yk… hope this helps
Fina be leaving soon in June hopefully had to get my wisdom taken out it was going to be next month that's what holding me up right now having surgery in may
They didn’t modified but the only things that helped was they gave us 100 words to learn and memorize so by the end of the three weeks when we took the test most of the words appeared in the test. Also, instructors teach us solving maths everyday and others

The test at the program won’t be same but similar like multiple choice as in MEPS. The words they give also changes but start working on learning synonyms and antonyms of words because the vocabulary words really counts a lot for your score
I have a question. I’m planning on doing the 09m but the jobs I get to pick from are all field jobs. I don’t mind but I have a one year old daughter who I love. What mos did you pick and how is your experience so far.
@@angelpattyvlog123 Do you think they will say anything if I bring my asvab book because my recruiter told me to bring it. He said his son took the program and retook the whole test.
No if you are doing the program, you don’t sign any job because you technically hasn’t pass the ASVAB so MEPS will just be for your medicals, swearing in, signing your contract, etc.
Well, I went through the same and I am a human resource specialist which is 42A. Other friends of mine at the program got other jobs like supply and others so it depends on the jobs are pull up for you when you pass the test.
@@iam_tracylicious What I meant was since the program is its own, they don’t combine with BCT trainees. It is a different location but same post, you finish the program then you get to be shipped to BCT.
I think you get recycled for another three weeks to take the class again. However, once you focus and have the determination of passing the exam ones as you first start, you gonna be fine. Stay positive 😊!
