Thank you for your comment. These are simple models that we can improve as we see fit. It's an accessible kit. They are really very pleasant to build. Thank you for your subscription.
Yes you can go to my RU-vid channel page, I started making dioramas of planes or boats and now I make longer models with episodes. All models are made of wood.
Nice work on your model, I've watched every episode at least 3 or 4 times. I started this kit a few weeks ago, can you tell the color and brand of stain you used? I think it's the perfect color and really makes your model pop!
Thank. It's Light oak color. It's Syntilor brand. It's water-based wood stain but otherwise I'm going to turn to alcohol stain which is more resistant.
@@innovativedioramacreations4898 thanks a lot. I started this model a while ago, first one in many many years, and I am enjoying it a great deal. I am up to rigging the fuselage. Your videos are a wealth of information. Thanks
Thank you for your comment. Light oak color. It's Syntilor brand. It's water-based wood stain but otherwise I'm going to turn to alcohol stain which is more resistant and more dazzling on wood.
I've recently completed the upper wing on my model and it's been great seeing someone else build one. It's challenging. I couldn't get on with the fishing line the kit came with and used thread like you. Much easier to tie knots! Great build.
Your video is realy a pity you cant use the usual tools of modelism, you don't paint with aerobrush, the remains of glues are not sanded, so color doesn't apply uniformly. Try to learn a bit about modelism before tryint teaching othters Your expansive model is a mess, really sorry to you.
G'day, Have you checked out @Scott Mathews Channel ? He's building an Airdrome Kit of a Sopwith Camel Replica. Full Size, Riveted Aluminium Wings & Tail, Welded Steel-Tube Fuselage, Rotec Radial, And what appears to be a Modified Clark-Y Aerofoil... But, He was a RAAF Technician for 20 years, has his own Hangar, appears to be able to afford to spend his weekdays Camelbuilding.... And he's already built a Zenith Aircraft Zenair Cruiser ; To "get his hand in"... It lives in the same hangar...(!). His wife is a Chiropractor... So, maybe he's a "Kept Man..." ; Or, Perhaps he inherited a heap of Money - and his RAAF career was simply what he was raised to do, And, now he's served his hitch, and Retired to Have fun building Hairygoplanes In which to sit, While Levitating...(?) ! Such is life. I love your model. My father's uncle (Lt Leslie Wharton, MM ) flew Camels with 4-Squadron AFC, in August 1918. In 1978 I worked on a Sopwith Pup Replica & Fokker DR-1 Replica, Armstrong-Siddley Gennet Major, and Warner Scarab Radials - respectively. My first Aeroplane hangs in the National Transportation Museum, in Inverell, NSW, Oz. Backtrack me to my Playlists, to locate the "Personal Aeroplanology"... Therewithin to find Videos of both of my Aeroplanes, as well as a little (not quite ever finished...) Series on Sopwith Camels.... {Guess who grew up thunkin' meself to BE Biggles....(?) ; the "8-hp, 1975, Red Baron Skycraft Scout" which took me for my first Solo, has been chained up to a Museum Ceiling, since 1995 - due to it's Minimalist Primitivity....(!). Check it out, if you're up for a Good Giggle (!) ? Such is Life, Have a good one... Stay Safe. ;-p Ciao !
Thank you for your comment ! Thank you for the story and your sharing. I have an uncle who was a pilot. I didn't know the Scott Mathews channel. It's absolutely incredible. Thanks.
@@innovativedioramacreations4898 No worries mate ! In my Personal Aeroplanology Playlist I've stashed an almost complete Series of Camel-ology Videos..., you might get a giggle from some of them (?) if you check them out... Have a good one...! Stay safe. ;-p Ciao !
Wow, watching you build this as I build my little 65 piece plastic Revell F4U Corsair kit. Gives me inspiration to strive for what you're doing, thanks! Great music too.
@@innovativedioramacreations4898 thanks. It looks like you used black cotton thread for the rigging rather than the fishing line in the kit ? I am about to start on the fuselage rigging. I used the fishing line for the control lines and found it awkward to get tight.
