Thanks for the lovely comment! This series was started during the pandemic in 2020 when we couldn't access our libraries. Initially I asked my colleagues and students whom I had contact with to review a book of their choice - fiction or non-fiction - in their language of choice. I publish only one review every month as some people are quite shy and not everyone is willing to appear on camera. Nevertheless, I soldier on and work on recruiting new student reviewers every month.
This video is incredibly insightful. What inspired you to start the #upislit series, and how do you select the books to review? As someone running a dream interpretation channel, I'm curious about ways to incorporate storytelling techniques into my videos. I appreciate the insightful book review and have liked and subscribed to your channel for more literary recommendations.

Check out my poetry collection ‘Nicholas Leonard In A Stairwell’. It’s full of introspective poems about identity, heartbreak, vampires, and things as such!!!!:)
This is a great initiative. With this how can the library be said to be irrelevant in the 21st century? It is high time the libraries across Africa receive necessary funding to be equipped with the requisite technology.
