I've been teaching history with politics and in the past classics for 20 years, mainly in 6th form colleges. This channel has been created to get content to my students both past and present as well as anyone else interested in history and politics.
.No, no, no, what in the actual f@ck is this guy talking about? This is regurgitated google half truths. Right out of the gate? This is something that you should ALL take VERY seriously. You should get pissed at those like “the silent majority” in a “self governing society”. Secondly, America most certainly IS NOT a “liberal democracy” it is infact a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC… sir! What SHOULD be explained? Is the differences between a democracy? And a republic? And why they just mite want this to be a democracy, and not a republic. See? The differences between the two? Are INDIVIDUAL CIVIL LIBERTIES!!! In a democracy? The MAJORITY of the the people have TOTAL say over everything. In a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC? A single individual can ULTIMATELY hold their ass accountable for doing things like spending three decades weaponizing American citizens against America? Then calling that egregious behavior “the will of the people”. Which is totally possible? In a democracy. lol, no disrespect intended. But i saw one comment that said “final paper went great!!!” lol umm, id love to be in that situation somehow… but probably not. I wish people knew how, when the TRUTH is hindered in one way or another? It’s quite literally just like suffocating other human beings - to death far more often than should be… we should all be very cautious in subscribing to anything like this. To me? This is so egregious? This guy is either so ill informed? So in need of being “politically correct”? Or is a part of the disinformation campaign. America really is under attack. They’re trying to remove the individuals rights? So they can subvert Americans to behave however they want them to? So they can inflict what they want on to the populous… shame on Americans for becoming so disenfranchised.
Also btw? What i described above? Is the example of why they would want this to be a democracy… for their own good? This had better stay a CONSITUTIONAL REPLUBLIC. And yes, im we3ll aware of some of the things they have long since done? That you all ignored ENTIRELY? Like the “Too Big To Fail” bail-outs of 08 and “Citizens United” in 2010 that was the architecture for actually making corporate America? More powerful, and more important than the INDIVIDUAL! They physically killing you. Taking away your rights. Know why? BECAUSE YOU WONT USE THEM…
We underwent a 34 year experiment in socialism from 1945 to 1979, even liberal Tories went along with it. Result...an unmitigated disaster as the UK economy stagnated and in severe decline - which was worsened by anarchy unions forever on strike. By 1979, we were an economic basket case like Venezuela. Thank God for Saint Maggie. She transformed a once great nation. Destroyed from 1997 by that wicked, evil monster T. Blair.

Hey Alan, it’s Alfie from last years class. With politics being very exciting in the last year I’ve been thinking back to our class when your video popped up on the recommended. Hi Alan. I find your videos both clearly informative and very entertaining! I'm a recently-retired HoD English, and - because I just haven't had enough of education! - I want to try to self-teach A Level History. Your material confirms my enthusiasm. Thanks, and please keep doing what you're doing.
I think FPTP has public support because the two big parties campaigned for it because it suits them to monopolise the vote. They don't care that it's not democratic. The latest election shows just how corrupt and broken this system is.
