Ok nevermind I get it now. After the RLRRLL on the hi hat he does rlrl (singles) on the snare and Tom he goes back to RLRRLL on the snare 2x. So paradiddle diddle with RL singles. I got that part so far.
After the paradiddle diddle on the hi hat and paradiddle right after can the singles be a RLL with the use of the constant single kick? Because that's what I have started out with. I came up with a chop of my own that's RLRRLLRLLk(constant single kick)RLLkkRLRLkk that's similar in some ways to this
please do a tutorial video on this, its been two years man I know you can do it. i want to learn this for my audition, just something a little extra. it would be great if you did. I’ll stay subscribed with notifications on until you make a tutorial!
It’s been pretty difficult for me lately to film drum content but I’ll try my best to get a tutorial up for this one this week 🙏🏿 Thanks for your support!
Thanks for the kind words! Honestly, the pattern itself isn’t that musically complex. But to achieve the fluidity and precision like he does in the movie is where the insane difficulty lies. It’s taken me personally at least a decade to get. But I also didn’t have ways to slow it down and figure it out while I was learning so it could take way less time now.
@@NickSmall Gotcha. Thank you for the insight, I appreciate it! I just checked the audition cover and some of your other videos and, yeah, you got talent man! You got a new sub :)
