Using baking paper in such heat = mistake, using a pizza peele as a cutter = mistake, using storebought dough = mistake.... brother I Think I had three heart attacks whatching this video :D
You are correct. After a long time of use I can see that being a great option. I use parchment paper every time to keep it clean as possible. Still, things tend to spill and what not so it is like you said. Up to the person. Cheers and thank you!!
Would be good to have made a pizza first and then do the video. I have one of these and it works great if you follow instructions. Also, parchment paper is a terrible idea. Not designed for high heat and won’t allow crust to brown correctly. Pizza stones aren’t supposed to stay “clean.”
Just bought one.. love it.. But PLUG IT IN OUTSIDE ON HIGH for an hour or so AFTER you wash and dry everything BEFORE USING. It'll put off a nasty FIRST BURN smell.. just my opinion 👍😎 Mine doesn't have the BUMP OUT on the back.. huh
LoL, I have you guys to set me straight... I didn't know if I was going to keep it and I also didn't know what the scrapper was at the time. But, now I'm sold, use it and take really good care of it. Thanks for the comment Walker!!!
I would prefer a review after you had experience with this product or at least read the instructions (As noted previously that is not a pizza cutter, but the stone scraper.).
I get it, though I like doing things my way. I have a few shorts with more XP as you requested if you want to check those out. Probably less of me and more of the product. Cheers Rick Grimes!!! Such a cool name lol!!!
Humbly and Respectfully: Yes it was my idea... The paper can absolutely burn. I mentioned vigilance as it cooks fast. Later shorts I even showed what can happen with the paper. The real good thing about the paper is, getting the pizza in and out of the cooker. By the time my novice self puts on the sauce, toppings and tries to put it on the stone, it breaks a bit. The paper removes that issue and quickly starts to cook. I hope I made some sense! Have a wonderful weekend Darlene!!!
In another pizza oven review, they used parchment paper but removed it after 1 or 2 minutes and let the pizza rest on the stone for the remainder of cook time.
@@isitanygood7574You're welcome.I have one as well. Makes really good pizza and mini bread buns. Been wondering how fishes would turn out. Would love to see a video on it. Good luck!!!
@@wiz4020 lol no worries, people say what they want and i'm game... this is why i dont script, i like doing things live so even the silly stuff comes through... my wife and i read these and kinda shake our heads sometimes you know :)
Yours came w/o instructions??? What!! The good thing is that most of everything you do on these is trial and error. Your errors will actually perfect your timing as wasting good food I bet is not in any ones vocab. Let me know... maybe I can make a demo vid on something you like :) cheers!!!
yes... I would say anything you want to cook is a play with settings or follow recipes from the book itself. One take away is that over stuffing the unit will cause uneven cooking for sure as I was able to capture on the video... GL Fam!!!
Meaning: preheat then dropping frozen items into the glass container? If that is your question, then it depends. Fries 100% Wings 100% Shrimp or items of this fashion then 100% I'm not sure what else you mean, unless you hook me up with some example 😉
The bottom 4 legs have rubber suction cups and at over 800d I have placed my had underneath it and have felt not much heat... I think it will be safe, but if you want a pro answer, I'm sure the company has a support that should properly answer this for you...
Kindly and respectfully: In the first few seconds, I show how easy they connect and disconnect from each other... then I show when they are on the spigot and the hose... that's it... any longer and i'm beating a dead horse. they connect righty tighty on the female and male side accordingly and slight pressure and they connect... give it a rewatch cause idk how better else to explain it... I promise it's supper simple and you won't regret ever having them... you might wish all spigots came like this!!! 😉
I just ordered mine. Hasn't come yet. But thanks for the tutorial it helps as I didn't know or think of using parchment paper. I love crunchie. Wish me luck.
@@isitanygood7574hello good video demo I like the parchment paper idea What if you cut the paper close to pizza side with no paper edges expose to heat elements? Do you think that would work? Thanks
Haha, I didn't think it was that good, but I did try my best. I so humbly appreciate your kind words. Enjoy this amazing oven... No words can express how you will enjoy your pizza... You might not leave the house!!!
It looks beautifully browned on the bottom. It was smart to use the parchment paper. I made 4 pizzas on mine without the parchment paper, and already the pizza stone is black and smoking a lot. It is really hard to get the stuff that falls onto the stone off. You can't wash the stone or get it wet.
woops!!! I clean mine with water and scrape it with a soft material, plastic or wooden spatula. But this is supposed to happen per the instructions, they call it seasoning but it performs so damn well!!! Also, the parchment paper burns... I only figured this out on the second try. The video Posted, was my first try. I don't think it'll hurt my stone, but if it does, trust me I'll make a short about it lol... I don't mind showing my blunders!!! Thanks Duke and if you a dad, happy US day!!!
While the stone is still hot, use the scraper it came with to scrape all the big bits off, you won't hurt the stone. Then wipe it down with a wet cloth. Be careful not to burn yourself.
@@barbarathompson2634 It wasn't Raw and this was my first time using it... I agree.. parchment paper is no good here and the stone does season dark... now it looks like a dalmatian
