thats beautiful... the hours and work going into these is just crazy...I was thinking some gold n magenta would look hot....just wondering,, it didnt seem like you sanded candy clear to do overlap graphics on fresh clear..do you have to let cure before taping ontop so tape doesnt pull paint??..that abalone shell is primo ..love that. The only thing i dont dig is bumper lettering..shoulda used script..but amazingly cool car
This is an excellent video, tried and tested in the past as well. What I am looking to try this time, is to just buff it out, but apply ppf over it, way less work, significantly less time. I am curious to see how long it last.
Me quedé con la la duda. Le aplicarte el promotor para plástico sobre la pintura blanca que trajo? No hay que lijar completamente hasta llegar al plástico?
I have a question. I know sealer primer shouldn't be sanded. It's just to make the body 1 uniform color. For example what should you do if you applied sealer primer onto the car and you went past the 15 min cure/flash time. You went 1 week. What should you do to the sealer primer in this situation before applying the base coat of paint? Do you sand down the car again and apply sealer primer again?
My wife picked out rapid blue from the corvette stingray for her car. This is a solid with no pearl or metallic. Should i use black under the blue for best coverage?
Would you ever help out individuals with their car questions for a price rather than doing it in an open forum? I would gladly pay a professional painter where I can have one on one questions for them, instead of asking randomly and hoping I hear back from them. Thanks
Thank you for this video. Your Jack placement in the rear was key for me. I had to do solo for mine too. And great call for coilover depot. Went with Godspeed
Hi Mr. Pharraway. Love the videos, and have a question. Where do you do all the bodywork? In a separate building? I only have a large 2 car garage set up for painting, and no place to do dusty bodywork and am wondering what location to perform all the pre paint prep work? Any suggestions would be great!!!!
I really liked my Endozer (the green one) but the packing fell out and I can't remove the large brass portion behind the steel nozzle. Can someone help?
So I’m still trying to understand why if the the first basecoat gets good adhesion why does it matter how many coats on top of that should not do what this car did?
Another great video I really appreciate sharing your knowledge. I have a question for you. I have a 1987 Monte Carlo that was painted in 1996. It has a candy on it, but I want to restore it. This will be my first time painting a vehicle, but my question to you is, do I have to sand it to the metal? If so, what’s the first primer a sealer or a high built primer?
Thankyou so much pharraway, i learn so much and many great tips and tricks I am lucky to find out your channel, i download all your full respray long video and make it own playlist the name of pharraway
