I find that when people say that meat is causing issues and they mention what type of meat they are eating its usually never meat alone. Its usually fried in seed oils, covered with flour, and sugar, and seasoning that have msg. But they blame all the health issues on meat.
@@Terminal_Apotosyou need to eat fat contains food (atleast 10 gram fat) before having vitamin d supplement. I eat chocolate and peanut butter 😅with my vitamin d supplement
Good morning i ran across your video enjoyed it very interesting i had and still do have some of the same hair issues the hair oil you showed in your video is not the hair oil that you recommended its not red does not have the same ingredients did i miss something this oil is from flower moon its clear not red i am confused , your presentation was good i did go out and purchased the scalp scrubber, vitamin B3 , also the coconut water.thank you
Thank you for this video. I am puerto rican with 3c/4a curls and ive been experiencing so many issues and started to notice my hair growing dry and brittle as well as my curl pattern loosening. This has been going on since covid lockdown started and never thought anything of it. I assumed i had low iron but the results were completely fine. I got myself tested for EVERYTHING and came back with 13ng/ml for vitamin D which is incredibly low. Its not just the hair, i had dry skin, fatigue, ETC. Thank you for making this video because not many POC speak on this issue.
This was very informational I know I have low levels, I am about to see my dermatologist to get on the 50000 a week pills. Question- is the link under the description still valid? The serum I saw was not red.
You and your hair is absolutely beautiful 😍. I know I’m late but I have a vitamin d deficiency too and I was wondering if your hair was extremely dry and if your curl pattern became looser?
Hey Kimberly! And my apologies for the late response. Thank you and yes both of those things I noticed during the onset of my deficiency. No matter what I put on my hair, it felt like straw. As far as curl pattern I would say it became looser primarily due to it being dull and lifeless.
Hii!!! My vit d levels was 16 before 2 months then i adviced to supplement d3 once a week.i have similar problems scalp soreness, hair shedding like crazy, lower backache but i am also experiencing hair loss from other parts also like eyebrows, eyelashes, nose etc did u also experienced same???
Thank you for your video. I watched the whole thing…. You’re entertaining 😊 I had the same problem but with irritable liver and I have 2 kids and adrenal fatigue too. All of those add up. I had taken vitamin D before. But did nothing. Now I found another one that worked thank God. Sore scalp, dry hair etc. I was loosing my hair for many years. And the only section I haven’t been able to recover is the crown. What stopped the hair fall for me was MSM and vitamin D combined with selenium. But I just started to do PRP to recover the crown. Let’s see how it goes
Thank you Lali! I’d love to hear how your PRP treatment goes. I have a friend who did experience crown thinning after a long period of vitamin D deficiency and she is getting cortisone injections. PRP sounds like a more natural alternative I’ll have her look into.
@@gessiangel Gessi I will for sure let you know how it goes. I’m very hopeful. Supposedly I can see results in 6 weeks (for baby hair). I started my first session past Saturday
Talking to an old school loctician, she stated that twisting to the left would keep the loc as thick as possible for a longer period of time because you are twisting the hair against its normal growth pattern. Because the hair isn’t able to curl the way it wants to, it in turn will not “thin” and keep its volume. Retwisting to the right which is most popular goes with most people’s natural curl pattern. This way will give you the smoothest finish because the hair wants to curl in it’s natural direction. However, overtime locs can thin and can eventually snap because of the decrease In thickness or volume of the base and additional weight from the length of locs. His locs were started to the left which is why I twisted to the left in this video however, as of recently he stated that he wanted to decrease his loc thickness so his locs have been retwisted to the right and they have gotten smaller.
I love how neat it looks! Seems like it takes some time to wrap each loc though. Thank you for sharing your method and thank you for introducing to a product I can use on my locs.
Thank you for sharing I think I like to try it on my diy retwist. I do a soft twist on my hair the wrapping paper can help hold my locs together. His locs are beautiful 😍by the way where will I buy wrapping paper TX
Thank you! Here is a link to the wrapping paper used in the video: Wrapp-it Styling Strips for Natural Hair Wrap and Molded Styles by Graham Beauty (40 Strips) a.co/d/b68q1rh They also have some options even cheaper at your local beauty supply store!
Interesting technique! Thanks for sharing! This seems like a really good method for hair that grows outside the loc. I would definitely try this!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🥰🥰🥰🥰
Inchessss hunny, your hair is gorgeous! Photoshoot look came out bomb and that champagne dress was everything! Just liked and subbed, be sure to return the love!
Thanks so much for sharing, sis! This was my EXACT story… burning in the crown area, dermatologist visits… weird shampoo that didn’t work. Who knew vitamin D was so important. My doctor has been telling me that I’m severely vitamin D deficient for years, but I never did anything about it.
I’m sorry for the late response but yes it is so crazy! This definitely needs to be a bigger topic in the AA community and those with darker skin tones
You have to take 5,000 IU to raise your levels. 2,000 IU is used for maintenance. If you start off taking 2,000 IU it can take you twice as long to raise your levels. Take 5,000 IU but monitor it. Then when you get to 30 IU- 50 IU then you can begin taking the maintenance doses of 2,000 IU.
hello, your Video opened my eyes, I went to the emergency for stomach pain and they Said that my diet should be dairy freue, No meat, only fish, a Lot of Vegetable, Grains, No fat, No sugar, No Salt. plus i have the Same Symptoms, very sore scalp, even painful Like a wound, burning Sensation, fatigue, sleepless nights, Alopecia in my crown area for 6 years . YOUR VIDEO EXPLAINS EVERYTHING. I did one blood Test 8 years ago the doctors Said that my vit d Level was zero. they gave me vit D3 20.000iu once a Week for 3 months. until everything IT went back to normal.but I never made the Connection Low vit d causes Alopecia. I have an appointment to get blood Test next month. but did you get stomach ache from vit d Supplements? everytime I start Supplements from the good supply Store I get Bad stomach pain. I dont eat fat, sugar,Salt, meat, dairy. what Supplements did you Take?please
My apologies for the late response! I’m so glad you were able to narrow it down! I did not experience any stomach problems from vitamin D supplements. I would check to see if the supplements contain anything else (coconut oil, fatty acids etc…) as that could be the culprit. As far as vitamins, I cannot take regular multivitamins because they all contain Biotin which makes me break out horribly no matter what I do. The only vitamins I’ve been able to tolerate is Garden of Life Vitamin Code Multi Vitamin for Women which is Whole Foods based.
Haii! I did a test and the result is very low.. I want to ask if your hair feels very dry when you have vitamin d deficiency? , because I feel my hair is falling out and feels dry so it causes dandruff huhu
Yeah, and it seemed like no matter how much water, conditioning or oils it just stayed dry😫 it’s one of the many effects! My hair was so brittle and strawlike. To try and combat this though I increased my wash day routine from once a week to once every 3 days. This helped tremendously with moisture until my hair was back to normal.
@@gessiangel Thanks for answering my question!! No wonder my hair feels very dry unlike before😞 , I will follow the tips like you gave , unfortunately Galilahi hair oil is not here. By the way I really like your hair! very good i want to have too😄.
This is absolutely crazy that we have the same exact story. Same exact timeline, same everything. I'm just now starting with vitamin d treatment and planning on adding the tips you've added! I'm extremely hopeful that this is what has been causing this all along. Thank you sooo much for sharing!!
Thank you so much for this video. I was experiencing thinning in my temple areas. I discovered my Vitamin D was extremely low. My doctor prescribed me Vitamin D supplement that I take once a week. I have been taking them for a month. I have noticed that I feel better and my hair is slowly growing back in my temple area. Thanks again for this information.
Thank you so much for this vid ! I just got my results yesterday and I’m at a 13 , I have balding my edges and back of head, at night I have tender spots , and it feels sore , I didn’t know what was going on ! Thank u so much . Question : did your hair continue to grow back out thin ? Or did all the hair return back thick ? My hair is super thin now I’m hoping it goes back to thick
I noticed when my vitamin D level went back to a normal range it still took time for my body to play catch up and also start to act normal as well. But once my numbers stayed at a healthy range my hair returned back to normal! Your hair will return back in due time☺️
@@gessiangel Hello, I want to ask.. at what level of vitamin d to grow hair again?? because I'm only 17 and my hair is already very thin which makes me not confident T_T
Hello! For hair growth it is best to keep hair between the normal range of 20-40 ng/mL. Anything outside of those ranges can be detrimental to hair/hair growth.
I'm having chest pains and nerve pain since 2 months. I was absolutely fine and when one day started having chest pain... It scares me a lot... I have done my ECG echocardiogram endoscopy and what not... Doctor said my heart was fine.... All the doctors are saying that I have in society and anxiety is causing me e these weird pains all over my body and specially my chest pain.. somewhat I was not ready to believe them... I I'm having extremely dry lips... It's sometimes even bleed when the skin comes off, kind of dry skin. And people tell me that I looked very unwell... I got my vitamin test done.... And my vitamin d level is 12.... Dr never asked me for a bit test but can my chest pain and other pain all around my body and specially my wrist and my feet can be a sign of vitamin d deficiency... Can vitamin d deficiency at a level of 12 be so severe
Yes vitamin d deficiency can be very severe and scary! It can be the main problem or the catalyst for many other problems as well. Try to get your levels balanced and see how you feel afterwards and continue to check with your doctor as well! Sending you love and healing 💕☺️
