That’s right. The biggest mistake I see homeowners make is not having their affairs in order when they die. You might think if you’ve got a will, you’ve accomplished the task, but there is so much more to it. I was reminded by a friend and colleague, David Scibor, today how much more there is. He introduced our leadership team to The Green Box Exercise. To find out more, comment with the words “Green Box” and I’ll send you a copy of the Green Box Exercise. #greenboxexercise #cltrealestate #charlotte . . . It is concerning to see how many real estate agents and brokers lack an understanding of the current state of the real estate industry. They are not aware that they are supporting organizations whose objective is to take over the industry. They are boasting about their paid-for Zillow leads and reviews while Zillow aims to become the Amazon of the industry and eliminate their presence. Rather than keep repeating all the nonsense that the problems are high interest rates and low inventory, real estate agents and brokers should get a clear understanding of how the real estate industry is been taken over by a few Wall Street corporations such as referral companies like Zillow Group, "iBuyer" Open-door Technologies Inc., and corporate investors such as Tricon Residential Inc., which purchase single-family homes and convert them into rental homes. Real estate agents and brokers should be the ones who are educating communities about how these corporations are destroying the future of homeownership for generations to come. These organizations are solely focused on their profits and are not concerned about the adverse impact they are having on the future of homeownership.
