Well at least the Simpsons didn't ending up the same fate like "Friends" not just yet and I can understand why the Simpsons Characters will never changes their ages like Bart as the longest running shows still continued for many years to come until the voice actors are ready to retire forever.
Apparently the Finales spoofed in the end credits are this in order: The Sopranos M*A*S*H Mad Men The Mary Tyler Moore Show (It's not "Friends", as you can see "WJM-TV" in the background) Breaking Bad Game of Thrones Frasier Succession Newhart, and the song playing is "They'll Never Stop The Simpsons"
Completely agree about Modern Simpsons getting beat up without cause. Comparison with when it was the greatest TV show is unfair to its writers. That said, you can see the writers are looking to push new ideas - and I expect they're constrained and told to do the same thing every season instead. Also - if you were a comedy writer - would you turn the Simpson down?! IMO, the finale should be a 2024/modern day version of Simpson's Roasting on an Open Fire. Therein showing that the struggles of families back then are the same as today. We're not so different as we were 36 years ago.
I started watching the simpsons when I was 3 years old starting with the christmas pilot episode, I'm 40 now. The Simpsons has been running for my entire life, but I stopped watching around season 13
I completely agree with the problem of humanisation of modern pokemon designs. But I do think the main problem are the simplistic 3d Modells. If you would put modern Pokemon in the classic spirte Design, they would look a lot more intimidating. Now you always see these extremely basic 3d models, that could be from the late ps2 era and also they are scaled down so badly. Best example is toxicroak. Such an amazing design in Gen 4, but when you see it in his canon Game-height you think, I could slap this frog. Like give me a car and I'm more threatening than every pokemon ever.

These games hold up incredibly well. Just got Hit and Run running on my steam deck and I'm hooked again. I remember playing road rage at my older brothers apartment and his friends let me play their xbox. I then begged my dad to buy me Hit and Run because it just came out. Old video but a good one!
this take reminds me of why I don’t like Anthony Fantano. the problem with this is is that you yourself, sir admitted that you are not an affluent listener of hip-hop and proceeded to compare pharaell Williams to Elvis and Elton John, which are on a whole Nother genre of music which don’t compare at all. The reason I brought up Anthony Fantano is because he himself admits that he comes from a rock ‘n’ roll background, but then decides to comment on hip-hop music as an expert 😅 while getting a lot of things wrong and undermining certain peoples achievements. these genres should be compared separately. Because you run into problems when you try to compare Pharrell to Elton John 😅. It’s not the same.

The video is straight up inaccurate, they’re suing for patent infringement, not copyright so it has nothing to do with the character design but the game mechanics that Nintendo has copyrighted. Also you talk about AI rip-offs which is at best a rumor. The whole video is junk. Lucario has that head because it’s what the Egyptians depicted Anubis as, there’s not much variation possible there

Sure Nintendo might have their reasons to go after Palworld but if the lawyers of the most litigious video-game company thought they had a case for copyright infringement, they would’ve sued already. You also don’t mention that the lawsuit is about game mechanics and not character design at all.
Okay. I don’t think it matters AT ALL if this movie fails or not. I’m happy Pharrell is getting his flowers in a unique biopic movie. Call him a one hit wonder and feature creature all you want, he’s still a talented artist that deserves respect in the industry in my eyes.
I use to love Futurama. But it is dead now. It's so horrible I can't get myself to watch through any episodes anymore. I don't know if they have different writers or they have no more inspiration, but it's "UNWATCHABLE".
