Description: Humanoid Robots, Artificial Intelligence, Unbelievable Military Mechs… the world is moving forward into new levels of technology that used to be considered only science fiction!
When you say the United states will pull ahead finally what crack have you been smoking The United states is about 10 to 15 years beyond anybody else's technology except maybe Israel lol !.
The robots in Olympic village makes me think of the little robots wandering the halls in Star Wars. You didn’t always know what they were, or what they were doing, but they helped with the daily functions and chores.
Who can say? With A.I. moving things forward more and more quickly, it's hard to imagine just what the future will look like. I for one am hoping to remain a simple human with a strong spirit. But, imagine the guy in the video who had a car accident then couldn't use his limbs. If that happens to you, wouldn't you want a way to act independently with technology and thus other people? I guess there will be levels and nuances to this thing.
I think it would make us bionic creatures. But human brains relatively aren't prepared for the kinda strength robotic interface would give us? Like doping on drugs I feel. We cant compete with ai. Giving us a computer steroid brain wont allow us too either.
You may be right! What if we just get an overload of information and it fries us? There's still so much we don't understand about human-robot interfacing, but they sure are trying hard to make it happen! Kind of like the World Eater Space Marines in Warhammer 40k.
Not at all! Check out the section starting at 4:01 for the dangers associated with the implant. There is plenty to be concerned about in these early stages, and that's why they're moving slowly and only with volunteers. When a person is/becomes quadriplegic or suffers from other serious impediments, any chance at a better life might seem worth the risk.
two comment but hidden? just turn of the comment section as it not a great way to start, so hide this also, because people who this... reason why I would not watch the video for a second! [edit] I did not know the reason comments do not show predicated upon a user helping me, I apologize for that [/edit]
@@xNekomancerx-fx7ey thanks for the reply, but why though, did this platform change stuff again? I would not be surprised and if so certainly my apologies or can youtubers change it? I really did not know
@@xNekomancerx-fx7ey I see, I will remember this... I appreciate this also, thing is I do not want to burn content creators without reason, so I will edit, rescinding my statement or rather leave as is but edit and apologize, thanks you you again.
Really? AI and robots are like newborn baby at this point. As far I've heard the AI bubble is already not from bursting. Musk is so far out of touch with reality.
It's definitely far from certain how the world is going to adapt to all of this. I think what Elon is afraid of is that with robots/a.i. being able to perform most of the manual labor, as well as many other research/development jobs, people are just going to be left behind. So, he's reaching for a solution to make us more competitive.
