fearless warrior.... I still remember the chase against England in Natwest trophy final.... smashed 5 boundaries in one over of Roney Irani.... Sourav Ganguly describes the incident with a funny notes....Incredible man... Ferocious opener with hindi music the one and only Virendar Sewagh
This is the best innings for him. His shots were amazing, and I heard the sound of the bat. That sound was like a gunshot. My childhood Kiwi hero. He is one of my favourite Kiwi players. This is an unforgettable, amazing innings for Astle's fans. He came to bat at the scoreboard, was 119/3, and then he got out at a score of 451 all out.
I was in college hostel while we were watching this game.... And everyone of us were literally stunned.... We thought either dravid was on high and will fail drug test or he fought with his wife before coming to bat 😂😂😂
Love these old highlights BUUUUUUUT when ever it’s a game involving Hanse or Pakistan there is always the nagging thought in the back of the mind “was that dropped by accident or on purpose” 😂😂
Brett Lee bowled very fast, but Rahul Dravid didn't care about that he just hitted the ball in the cover drive. I heard the sound of the bat. That sound was very noisy. Dravid's cover drive shots are very wonderful.
after long 26 years....still remember the celebration we have done after the last boundary of kanitkar.....his name in my memory is only because of that shot.....

I was there, well in Headingley anyway. I was on home leave revising for my O levels, home then being about 300 yards (as the crow flies) from Headingley stadium. I had the telly on, I heard every cheer twice first from the telly, second through the open door. A practical demonstration that electromagnetic waves, even if they have to go via a distant transmitter, are faster than sound. That was probably the only valuable revision I managed for my Physics exam those 2 days, including Botham's heroics.
