I had imaginary friends in middle school and all the way through high school and college and still have them to this day and that's a part of me I won't change for the world.
Always some very interesting questions. Love hearing the two of you talk about these unusual things that happen to us in life. I'm sure the dogs will also have a hard time adjusting. 🙃
I feel so fortunate at age 60 I haven't seen a doctor since I was 15 years old. I've worked outdoors since my entire life and literally have seen every sunrise. I definitely think this is what has kept me healthy. Great interview 👍❤️❤️
Self sabotage is very interesting. When people marry for better or worse, illness or an accident can happen to either party and each of you knows you take care of the other. But a self sabotage when one of you totally disregards the other would make it very difficult to stay with them. Maybe it's just me 🤷
I'm so happy that I found this episode. So much trauma that we still need to release. I think it's something we work on for the rest of our lives. Thank you for all the great information.
Sadly, many suicides in our family as well. I feel like I have a greater understanding after listening to this interview. Thanks so much ladies! Keep bringing on these amazing guests.
Wow!! What a powerful interview this was. I practice kinesiology and also deal with a lot of trauma and deep emotional wounds. I find Dr. Grise's approach very interesting. It truly is all about releasing these. Dancing and breathing exercises are great :)
Fantastic interview Lynn and Lucille! It was a pleasure listening to Dr. Grise. What she went through has obviously helped her so much in helping others today.
This episode brought tears to my eyes as I've personally been touched so deeply by suicide. My father took his life when I was pregnant with my daughter. This has left a huge dark cloud over our whole family. We are still healing.
This is so true! Whenever I start to feel that my thoughts are turning negative I sing in my head, lol. But your podcast is also an excellent choice for some inspiration/motivation! ❤️
It takes a while to get to the point where you can do this, IMHO, but once you do it's so helpful (and healthy) for your relationship! My alone time is very important to me, lol.
I agree that we are at a critical point in human history. What I see around me scares me, for sure. Personally, I may not have a lot of confidence in myself but my built-in skepticism at least protects me from the herd mentality, for the most part. I do like to figure things out for myself and never trust anyone who says they definitively have all the answers.
