Cool. I recently got a computer for school and decided to mod a 2DSXL I got off FB marketplace. It's been so fun going back and playing old DS games from my childhood and also exploring new games I never got to play since I didn't have the console when games were releasing for It. I kinda wish I had the new 3DSXL but, this one is still a really good console and I've been having a blast with it. I hope you do as well!
I have never used a New 3ds before, so I can not make a fair comparison. Personally, the 3d effect is not as important to me, so I love my New 2ds. After using if for a while Iโd definitely recommend it (if itโs within budget). If it is not within budget, however, I think one could still be content with a 2ds or older 3ds xl.
I just ordered my dream console, a modded new 3ds xl! I got the metallic blue and it looks to be in pristine condition (ill have to wait in see). Nice pickup!

Thatโs a very cool model, kudos to you ๐ I would advise you to homebrew it, with it you can add themes and badges, even custom ones! Itโs the kind of stuff that add a lot of personality to the system, and itโs quite easy to do UwU
Heyy my main goal is to play all pokemon games from GBC, GBA, DS,3DS and SWITCH So is the Odin 2 able to do that? Or should I just stick with buy a new 3DS XL, which I can definitely play ALL GBC, GBA, DS, 3DS pokemon games. Which do you think would be a better choice? ODIN 2 or new 3DS XL?
Personally, Iโve never used an Odin before. I have always tried to avoid emulators and use the real source consoles. I find that games play better on their original source console rather than emulated. Iโve heard that 3ds games especially play better on the 3ds rather than emulators, because of their dual screen functionality. Ultimately, it is up to you, and youโve probably done more research than I have. I donโt think you can go wrong either way !

Thank you so so much for the support! I find all the 3ds consoles to be comfy, except the original one. The XL is pretty ergonomic. I would not recommend them if you have larger hands though. As for durability, I have bought almost all my consoles second hand and they still work perfect despite being twelve years old. Just do your research, and read the descriptions of listings thoughtfully and thoroughly.

I'm surprised you chose the first Sos considering how annoying the stamina was, Trio of Towns is still my favorite Sos game though. I was actually playing ACNL on my 3ds while watching this video!๐ฅฐ๐ค
Donโt get me wrong, I still adore SoS! Itโs so charming, I wish more people knew about it. Is trio of towns worth picking up? I was scared it would be too similar to the one I already have.
@@daybeamaesthetic I think ToT is very worth it! I love the characters and events, and itโs overall my favorite SoS game. I unfortunately couldnโt get the first game until recently, so I donโt have as much experience and I canโt make very good comparisons between the two, but if you love cozy games it would be one of my top recommendations. Also Iโve been looking to get a Rune Factory game for a few years, and youโve officially convinced me ๐
The New 2DS XL has such a nice design. Not long ago (xmas 2023) I got a New 3DS XL (the color was galaxy for anyone wondering) and since then my 3DS has been my favorite console, along with my Wii U. My Switch was literally collecting dust since I used my Wii U / 3DS so much.
My switch has been collecting dust as well!! I just love the games on the 3ds so much more than any other console. It also has such a unique vibe to it that the switch doesnโt capture.
@@EpicRobloxianReal I feel like depending on what you might play, it isnโt as fun replaying games on the switch. I have somewhat of a handful and I havenโt picked up any of them to play again
