I moved my family from Toronto, Canada to Southern California and my goal is to educate the World and make everyone happier, healthier, and smarter. I'm an Associate Professor and Biological Sciences Faculty Lead at Southern California University of Health Sciences and like short walks on the beach (with my surfboard). Man, I started doing shadow boxing for cardio and those left hooks are killing my shoulder. I throw them hard and then I stop them suddenly without hitting anything. I thought I was doing my joints a favor by not hitting the bag and shadow boxing instead . But from what I learned from this video, the deceleration is killing my shoulder more than hitting something is. Maybe I need to hang up the gloves.
Will this help me with that dull but non-stop pain in my shoulder. It's in my jab side, but I don't know how I got it. Doc said I had a popped AC joint, but this feels like pain in medial deltoid muscle.
Great informative video Dr. Basso. Many people think they are moving around by sitting in their beautiful car, or taking Ferry, Bus, or Uber is the same as you explained and asked to move around if they want to avoid diabetes. It's simple mistake but I have talked to many people about what is their routine daily activities and they responded by saying I am moving all the time (with their vehicle) or taking the subway to work. Unfortunately we do not have an educated population so food manufacturer targets their pocket and health so easy. Thank you for informative video.
I have a question. I'm debating on getting this bike this week (I believe ecotric calls it the cheetah, nowadays). How high is that top tube on yours? When i look at the specs, the diagram essentially says to straddle it you need to be at least 6'3". I'm your height.
An incredibly boring introduction to protists! really? This is the best you have? There are so many more active ciliates, amoebae and phytoflagellates that would capture the attention of viewers than this, A sad intro to protistology for sure., From a UC professor at that! Sad,
I have to watch this, my left shoulder been hurting for like 2 weeks now, feel sharp pain in the dead center of that shoulder everytime I throw a punch
My injury is in the back where the rear delt and scapula connects nothing hurts in the front and yet I still can't find a help for my case, I feel it a lot when I throw a hook
I've had worse like way worse one time I was on a sled on Christmas and my dad was bulling me on a four-wheeler and he drifted and a moving car was right there and BOOM💥 I run into the wheel
Hey Doc, hi from Italy! I'm browsing around here to find a fix for mine, first timer, just a question (you and everyone please!), the Super Patches you use here... are they Park Tool or any other brand you'd recommend? I'm kinda lost what to pick andnthen embark on a 150+150 km ride to my family... thanks buds! Take care and have fun!!
Very kind to reply! I'm happy enough but just in case, if you've got one favorite tire patch glue as well, then go ahead 😌. Among us italian fatters, it seems the glues sound more or less all ok. About the patches, i'm pinning it on my list, i've also found out some here are using Maruni rolls, so then they cut the desired bit off it. Some said with these rolls they at last can trust them to...last, the whole tire life. Thank you, Doctor ( = legend!!) for the kind reply and sorry for the long remarks (rusty English - hard to think things alas 😇😌🙏👋 keep up the good rides 😎✌✌)
Great initiative! I too have concerns over nesting birds and the composition of their nests. One time I saw a bird living in a discarded bong. It was quite the sight to see. Excellent job ridding the beautiful wetlands of these plastic toxins. It’s a shame that you didn’t make it in time to save the crab (nature is cruel) Keep up the great work.
Yo Doc! I’m 6’3” and 250 lbs of twisted lard. Is this bike a bit too small for me? Do you think the other bike you mentioned at the end would be more suited to a gentleman of my stature? Once you ride that, let me know. I definitely like the price point and that is my wheelhouse for a product like this. I can compromise on quality expectations when I make a decision based on finances.. I wouldn’t be riding it too hard but would love to rip through some mud puddles from time to time. This is a timely review, as I’m the market for something like this. ***lastly, I live in canada and I’ve heard battery performance waivers in colder temps. I wouldn’t be riding in the dead of winter, but chilly fall and spring days would be the norm. Thx!
Hey - yes I would agree with you that this bike is likely too small for such a tall chiseled specimen such as yourself. The other bike I reviewed, Ecotric Sportcool, would be a great size for you. Happy riding!
Outstanding video! I’ve had shoulder pains for a while and after speaking to a mate they is a Muay Thai trainer, realised what it was. So much great and useful information.
I wanted to check in with you as you were one of the main reasons I went with the Ecotric. I am approaching 11,000 miles. I am still riding the original front tire. The rear probably has 6 or 7 thousand miles on it. I changed it when I changed the free wheel as it seemed like a good time with the wheel already off. I still have not had any flats. The second year I had it, I figured I should check the air in the tires. I was running at about 5 lbs, no wonder it was running out of battery sooner LOL I bumped up the air pressure and can actually ride it now without the battery. Only downside is I can feel the bumps more on the rode. Anyway, still super satisfied with the purchase😀
I have the same bike and am looking into adding a front motor hub. So with all that force looks like the fork dropouts did not break. So with custom torque arms that will actually will work and a 48volt 1000 watt motor at reduced power using only a left hand thumb throttle it should be fine. I don't do any extreme off road only bike trails sometimes but mostly street riding.
No such thing as a "flathead screwdriver" has ever existed. That is a STRAIGHT screwdriver. Remember... the world is full of Phillips flathead screws. Try not to get confused.
Hi I kinda need help , about a year ago I started boxing and I didn’t have a lot of experience so I hurt my left shoulder throwing repeatedly left hooks then I hurt my shoulder and the next day my left shoulder/ back hurt a lot and it was stiff I could barely move but eventually the pain went away after I messaged it and Im pretty sure I dislocated it and it has been left untreated for a year, it doesn’t hurt but it feels very weird and uncomfortable and it gets tired quickly it also feels light in a bad way so please give me some advice
@@HybridDrJ Then my apologies. My comment did contain links.. perhaps RU-vid flagged it. It should be visible on your end under your "comment review" section... it's quite a lot for me to type it up again. Thank you.
@@Altuz Sadly I cannot find your original comment anywhere. I checked the comment review section with no luck. I welcome constructive criticism and debate. If it is too long to type again any chance you can give a brief synopsis? Sorry for the inconvenience.
