A bit late to the party but Wynton Marlborough is indeed a northern (English) accent. Maybe Manchester but certainly North West England (maybe Preston in Lancashire - he’s quite well-spoken so it’s hard to say for sure as it masks it a little)
@@grayhill6728 I’d say just do what you enjoy more. if you continue making tutorials, mod explanations, etc. you could set up timestamps for when you explain specific things and then a summary at the end so that people can get the information they want quickly. don’t stress about a video being too long, because it’s always better to overexplain than to leave out information. RU-vid has metrics for average watch length and what specific parts of the video were watched the most, so you can use that information however you see fit.
Early game definitely the best defense is a strong offense! Going in and taking the early small bases definitely costs less resources and time allowing you to grow your production before the pollution gets out of control.
Thanks for the comment! I definitely agree with that on a greener map that absorbs more pollution, but on a desert map I'm not so sure. I wasn't clear about that distinction in the video. I've seen a default settings playthrough where they didn't even research turrets because they managed pollution and went on the offensive.
I don't believe in ghosts but I concur with you that if they exist they for sure would be able to haunt anything virtual too, but I would say that what happened to the power was a bug in the game (I didn't watch the 1st episode again to check though). Don't be sorry for rambling sometimes, half of the fun comes from that. Keep the good work going! The factory must grow!

I do really like to see QoL mods in gameplay since they allow for a better quality of content, since it's boring to see someone spend a lot of time doing something that a simple mod could do in seconds.
There are definitely some parts of some games that drag on. I'm going to consider bringing in some mods. One of these days I want to do something like an islands world.
Managed to get 100% Efficiency on all 9 surrounding plantations when first planting them! Its difficult and kind of tricky to find a perfect area where most plantation areas overlap! However its possible, furthermore you can get all 9 plantations receive the 10% boost from the cow ranch, you will have to sacrifice 6% efficiency from one of the plantations to the 10% boost for the last plantation. Overall its a 4% boost XD It might be small but for all those min-max perfectionists out there, a gain's a gain!
This is excrutiatingly slow and awkward to watch. I suggest you figure out your layout first and record once you have a vague idea. Been watching for 10 minutes and you've put down 3 plantations. Doesn't make for a good watch.
Thanks for the comment. With that layout, there's more than a vague idea, but because each map's fertility is different, you have to play around with it. In other words, it matters where each plantation goes. But yeah, I can see how you'd find that part tedious.
I thought it was a great...if you think you can do better I suggest uploading a video yourself instead of being an excruciatingly critical buzz kill to the uploader. Soil fertility matter when farming in Tropico. Otherwise you get terrible produce output.
I just purchased Tropico 6 for Christmas and have been watching videos like yours as I play. Thank you for a new play through and showing the cluster of farms, I'll have to try it. This episode was better with not being on pause as often, I look forward to more and hope you continue. I would suggest sheep ranches as they provide wool for textile mills and milk for the creamery.
