i am the only to know that cuphead ingame has white gloves but in the inv he has yellow? gloves? ig you can see for yourself here white 17:56 and yellow 17:47 ig
sorry if this is common knowledge here, but I'm curious why on the aviation stages, your input display doesn't work? i'm assuming because you change input methods for those stages?
Glad you noticed that, thanks! That was something I had the idea for probably like 5 years ago, but I always either lost DPS or broke even at best, but now I am finally good enough at it to actually gain DPS on it which, while small it does add up over the whole phase and is especially useful when you need to do little dodges around flames and imps.
I am not using any form of cheating, but I am using tech and glitches that exist within the game along with over 2k hours of experience and refined and heavily practiced strategies. I released a 9-hour long 5 part advanced tutorial series explaining everything I do and how I do it and these things can be recreated in anyone's game on this version of the game without any need of a cheat engine or anything similar. why does my game when i play look like a 8-bit, i playing on pc and on a monitor. I also DL super double dragon off steam and it doesnt look as good as SNES version? im confused
The 23 minute run is for the 1.0 version of the game which had a lot more glitches that sped up the run. On Speedrun.com these are referred to as "legacy" speedruns but my video is for version 1.1+ which is quite a bit different and this is currently the official verified record on www.speedrun.com/Cuphead for this patch and category.
I'm glad that the "bad ending" is not considered a valid completion of the game anymore. It was so stupid that people were speedrunning to reach the game over instead of the ending
This is a hidden mechanic the developers of the game actually brought to the attention of speedrunners, where if you shoot the octopus like this, it actually makes him move much faster. So this saves several seconds over the course of the entire octopus ride.
