I got an Anker Solix C300 Portable Power Station, what would you recommend for an expandable battery, DC input: 11-28V - 8.2 Amps. The power station as Lifepo4 battery in it. I would want 1KW expandable battery. You can charge this unit with the USB C port to, with 140 watts max.
44v (38.4v) is kind of an odd voltage. Is it possible to make two of these into an 8s3p 24v battery? Do you have a BMS solution? Are these Lithium-ion cells?
Anyone have a suggestion for making a cheap DIY motorcycle battery (for a regular battery for starting/charging system not an electric motorcycle) I'd like to use harvested 18650 li-ion cells.. Or maybe lifepo cells if I can find them.. They have decent little cases available.. What would be a decent bms for 12v system.. Running at 13.8v or so... That the alternator can charge.. And can be put on a maintainer in the off season.. But ready to use at any time..
4 headway cells 😁 he sells them on website. High output lifepo4. Works out to correct voltage. Files on thingiverse to 3d print holder for this. Good luck 😁
Chingon, great info, got a grip of rechargeable packs, that won't charge. Now i have the knowledge of what shuts them down, balance of voltage, not heat or high ohms... 😮
Hello nice vid, but at 0.55 you'd better explain voltage vs amps. Cause the voltage might be there but if there is no sufficient amps the voltage will drop under load. Regards
if all modules are connected parallel then pack voltage must be 24V and power must be 84 kW . if all modules are connected series then voltage must be 384V and power must be 5,3 kw . Where is the 700 volt on the system? i am confused.
Would it be enough to offset the lost energy from mechanical friction and what not by incorporating an additional energy source, such as adding a wind turbine or solar panel?
29 dollar to burn your house down! Seriously people avoid cheap 18650 cells... who knows who made it and who knows if they are tested... buy brand one LG,samsung,panasonic... all brand one have less chance to catch a fire... always be around when charging, and don't leave it plugged when is charged!
best at explaining. thank you for making it easy to understand. I have a question. does a battery pack need the circuit board, IF on each "charging" each cell is removed and individually charged, to the same compacity. Then allowed to rest. And the position in the pack is rotated for each use?
Just recently ordered one of these with 16 of the Lev60 cells & the put together unit did Not come with the low profile nuts with the kit & also just had the regular single bms wire run w/out the extension so… My services with you have been CUT-OFF with over an hr. of research in how to contact ANYONE &… Nothing🤬
Have you heard of the bike battery startup Gouach? They are supposedly making a easy DIY cover/bms for ebike batteries? Have you heard of anything similar?
