Join me on my travels across the US! I began this journey in April 2024 after selling my home and buying a Winnebago Mini Winnie. What an amazing life experience I am having exploring the beauty of the USA, meeting wonderful people across the country, and trying all kinds of new things.
I love these little pop up style trailers. We ve had a Bunkhouse ( same but different) since 2006..we love it. A few people we ve rode and camped with have seen how much better we had it than them and their tents that they went out and bought their own. :) They bought used LEES URE LITES Their very happy with them. sorry to hear you've had some issues with yours. I didnt get what yr it was. Theirs are a little older. Hopefully they ve gotten those things fixed up in their manufacturing. Theyre made up here in Canada...one province over. But Im glad to hear you worked through those hicups and are enjoying it. thanks for sharing maybe we ll see you out there. take care
Brian is a Hoot ! The actual owner of Percival, Sheila is every bit as aviation friendly as Brian,,,, my wife Kat took up a few of the local girls,,,I think Mia may be Sheila’s grand baby,,,,, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CzcSOQpFTsU.htmlsi=1crakpKYvNR_nxfX
I bought mine from Bill in spring 24 and spent a week in Laconia during the rally. Trailer tows like a dream behind my 2020 Road Glide LMTD, and I can never go back to tenting again. Sets up/ tears down easy. I have the add-a-room and it comes in handy for when I want to smoke my cigars while the rain falls.
Love seeing this video, Crystal!! I can still see your beaming smile and hear your infectious giggle as you took off and landed. What a treat this day was for you and for Patrick and I. And how cool to hear of another person taking lessons with Brian. He is a terrific fella! All our best to you, dear Crystal. Safe travels to you. ~Sheila and Patrick
Thank you, Sheila! It was such a great day, and it was lovely meeting you two! Hope to see you again either when I’m in your area or perhaps sometime paramotoring 😀
Brian is a great guy. He is my instructor and has been a great experience getting to learn to fly total. Glade, you had so much fun. Good luck in your travels
Hi Crystal! Your theme song is fantastic!! It was so neat to see one of your paragliding pictures in there. We look forward to seeing more of your adventures. Blessings to you for safe travels and awesome new experiences. Fondly, Patrick and Sheila
If (and that seems very unlikely atm) I were to ever do something like this I just know I would repeat several of the adversities you...despite your warnings. the occasional bouts of loneliness are just part of life. We just are not always connected with others despite all the "connectedness" available these days.
Hi Frank😊. Absolutely, it’s all part of the learning and the experiences. So far I am loving the lifestyle, including these kinds less-than-stellar moments
Hi Crystal. Thank you for sharing the good the bad & the ugly of rv life. I am in DuPage & have been thinking of taking the leap. Your experience is inspiring. As a single woman myself, it helps to look to others who are doing it and if it is something I can do. I look forward to your content.
As I recall, Cara said it’s best to pick the blossoms in the morning. You can remove the stems before frying, though we didn’t. Either way, you do not eat the stems. Mix up Ricotta cheese with Parmesan, an egg, and salt & pepper, and maybe add chopped herbs or spices you like. Pinch the blossoms closed as best you can. Dredge in flour, dip in an egg wash, and coat with breadcrumbs. We fried ours for maybe 5-7 minutes. I think you could also try roasting them too. Enjoy!
