A joyful exploration of pegboard-style Rube Goldberg machines.
Our goal is to create delightfully entertaining and educational videos while inspiring students to build their own Rube Goldberg machines. Feature videos provide a close-up look at the machines that we have built, while tutorial videos cover the tools, techniques, and materials that our team is using to create these Whimsical Widgets.
As a new channel, we are testing a few different video formats as we learn, but we are committed to leveling up our fabrication skills, camera work, and video production with each new build to better serve and entertain our viewers.
Thanks for the positive feedback. The spinning wheel was from a toy called the Cyclone Flyer that we purchased from our local Dollar Tree for $1.25. It's still listed on their website, but in-store availability may vary by location. You can see a close-up of the package in our build video (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PQm3L83lFRs.html) and some close-ups of how the feature was constructed in the video walkthrough that my son recorded (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zWxq8UDqPjo.html). Hope this helps.
The company made good and shipped me a new set of brackets that worked great for our redesigned Rube Goldberg machine base. www.whimsicalwidgets.com/new-machine-base/
