Never bang the boot lid down! It's supposed to be hand pressure only. Lower the lid till its touching, then gently but firmly press down with the heel of your hand. Slamming it down like that will break the mechanism sooner or later. The handbook for XJ Daimlers and Jags has since 1968 explained about clicking the lid closed .
ARGH! NEVER slam the boot cover on these Jags' as you will soon destroy the lock... Just push it to close once in contact!! There is a label / sticker on the edge of the boot warning the user about this, it is even visible in the video.
I believe you mount the iPads into the frame from the rear - pull tab used to change viewing angle is also used to access the rear of the frame. Please do more videos of this car! Exceptionally rare and there is virtually no content available online specific to the ultimate rear seat setup. Spectacular vehilce!
