Hi Allan, thank you for your comment. Sorry we are only able to advise on government grants and rebates for energy efficient windows. Your best bet would be to search on Google for insulation rebates. Hope you're able to find what you need. Have a great week ahead.
Hey there, thank you for your question! Our Supreme Collection is revolutionary because it combines the best features of two materials: the exceptional efficiency of vinyl and the incredible durability of aluminum. These windows have vinyl frames with an aluminum cladding on the exterior. The vinyl frames are excellent because they do not transfer heat well, meaning they have superior thermal performance that makes it easy to regulate your home's internal temperature. The aluminum cladding on the exterior protects the vinyl during extreme temperature changes, preventing warping, and from hail, preventing cracking. Is it normal for my prairie parimeter internal grids in my double pane picture windows that are near an entrance door to have alot of play when shutting the door? They don't rattle against the glass but the definitely wiggle like spaghetti.
Hi Charlotte, thank you for your enquiry! It's always best to check the specific terms and conditions of each grant program. We recommend reaching out to our team for a free consultation with one of our Experts at 1-888-534-3333. I have the style of screen that slides over to clean the windows. But I need to replace the screen netting. How do I get that screen out to replace the netting? Thanks in advance!
Can we get a rebates by doing DIY? Im planning to order an energy efficient window and install it by my self but wondering if the grant will affect it?
Hi there! Thanks for reaching out. To access the current BC window rebates you need to be an approved contractor, so unfortunately DIY work is highly unlikely to be approved: www.betterhomesbc.ca/find-a-contractor/ When it comes to federal rebates, we've asked whether DIY projects were allowed, and NRCAN stated that while they highly recommend using a professional contractor, it's not a requirement :) So you may still be able to apply for the Canada Greener Homes initiative. More information about that can be found below: natural-resources.canada.ca/energy-efficiency/homes/canada-greener-homes-initiative/canada-greener-homes-grant/canada-greener-homes-grant/23441
Hello sir! Thank you for this extremely helpful video! Both your explanations and your cleaning techniques are very thorough and methodical! Well done, and thank you again!
Hi, thanks for your interest in our video. The Government rebates are not a scam, though there are a number of stipulations to access them and they apply to the most energy-efficient products. We put together this handy blog, detailing what customers need to know regarding different rebates including the new ones that came in last year: www.centrawindows.com/blog/major-changes-government-window-rebates
