Congratulations! This is an amazing library. It's super detailed, and the sound is fantastic, too. It's the first library I know of that not only has a lot of extended playing techniques for bass flute but also provides them in multiple dynamics and with (optional) legato transitions between them! That alone would be amazing, but one also gets the same amount of articualtions for contra- and sub-cobtrabass-flute. Can't wait to hear what comes next! Maybe a contrabass clarinet or a contra forte? 😉
She looks so proud playing her violin. 😏 But I have to say that virtual instruments are amazing nowadays and with a bit of practise the results are pretty realistics.
I need to know what kind of post-processing you are doing to achieve this sound? Every time I use these horns I end up with a mid heavy sound that sounds like everything is about 100 yards away. The top end is so full of sharp sounds that I find it really hard to get them sounding nice and airy and smooth in the highs and so final mixes with large sections sound boxy and muffled. Can I see what kind of EQing you're doing, please?
Hey Steve, I created this demo 10 years ago. Mr. Chris corrected some minor tuning issues after that. I don’t remember which strings runs I’ve used here, it’s from 2014 and Chris didn’t have his strings yet. Sorry!
I bought this VST a while ago and at first thought I was buying crap. But after I watched this video. I decided to study it seriously. and soon I mastered some of its use methods. I almost reproduced the music in this video exactly the same without using any effects. I'm not very good at giving lectures. so I simply shared the production method, hoping to help everyone. Mr. Hein is not a jerk. I think he did a great job, but the interaction design was very poor. which affected the use. This is my video, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FpGZWStCU5o.html
CC64 can be adjusted per articulation. It can trigger portamento or act as a sustain pedal. at 2:47 Berthold plays the sustain articulation and holds the notes via CC64.
I'd like to hear the isolated instruments - there's too much mixture and not enough separation for me to get a good idea how capable this virtual instrument is.
Wenn man mitten in der Nacht aufwacht, weil man vom Zauberwald geträumt hat, in dem man als Kind mal war und sich dann nach der Musik und der ganzen Atmosphäre sehnt Niemals vergessene Erinnerungen 🤩
Is it in principle possible to get any result you can get using the key vibrato by using the LFO vibrato and vice versa? Is it practical to get results that sound pretty similar to the key vibrato demonstrated here by using the LFO vibrato? I've only found a couple brief demonstrations of the sound of the LFO vibrato, and they were unflattering, but I like the key vibrato demonstrated here just fine, so I could believe that the LFO vibrato demonstrations I saw didn't do the feature justice.
Dankeschön. Es war ohne großen Aufwand aus der Hüfte geschossen. Aber einen guten Film machen die Motive: Tolle Leute in einer stylischen Location, und das mit hoher Frauenquote...
Of course you can control dynamic via CC1. By default its set to CC11, but you assign any CC you want. There are 4 Violins included with different sound. The Italian Violin is much softer.
10 years later and I blame Best Service for selling something that maybe made sense to Mr Hein but not to me. Yes you can get a nice sound but manipulating the VST is difficult. This library is for professionals who know how to use it but not for the likes of me.
I don't understand what your problem is. you manipulate almost everything. You can customize the instrument in so many ways, even under the hood, since the editor is not locked. Is there a particular problem I can help?
@@ChrisHein-WizardMedia Neither latest Pro tools nor Studio one 5 can record the midi on a new Mac silicon. I can play and it receives MIDI but the playback just gives you the first note but no runs.
I hope the CH-Libraries will get an GUI- and Workflow-Update soon - as so many library-creators does it these days. For my taste there is too much on every screen and a lot of these functions could be better scripted and automated with the new kontakt-version. Maybe CH-Libraries will be transfered to the new (not yet released) Best Service Player? Also the articulations should be renamed correctly - "short 1 to 6" is always a puzzle to solve. Really love the dry sound of my ensemble strings but sadly did not use it as much as I wish to because of.
