I loved the reshoting of this scene because I like to think of it as this was the way Alex's remembers the night they first meet and the first one we see is how piper remembers it. It's a crazy comparison because piper is overhearing a wild story and then is getting made fun of flirting everything says she intrigued by alex but alex it's the talking about messed up relationships and staring longingly at piper like she knew that was the love of her life that just walked in
Would love to work on a female-predominant production like this. Seems like such a warm, caring, and secure environment in which to do good work as a creative professional. There are too few sets like this.
I love this show but it can be so hard to watch. It's marketed as a comedy, but it feels more like a tragedy. It's a reminder of how desperately we need to work on our "justice" system and prison reform.
