Nice informative video. Nitecore is very good , but a bit overpriced compared to other equal, if not better, flashlights... Wuben, Wurkkos, Sofirn. My go to EDC is the Wuben E6 which runs on the 14500 or *AA (*more readily available and more affordable than the CR123 series) and throws almost 400m @ 900Lu w/14500
I have a red Sea-to-Summit liner. My sleeping quilt is losing its warmth ability, so I bought a liner to see if it would help. It certainly does, it's given my quilt a new ease of life. My wife's friend adapted it for me by cutting off the hood area (I don't need it) and then making a slit from the head hem for a length of 3 feet towards the foot box. So now I have a sleeping quilt and a matching quilt liner, and they both work very well together.
I’ve been using a sea to summit reactor for years - definitely helps keep the bag clean and you warm. I also take it when traveling to hotels, I don’t trust some beds, so it’s nice having something clean to crawl into
D*** I wish you had a side top button like mine did, but that's an amazing light. I'll have to see how much they are. I'm sure it's not cheap but you get what you pay for that would be perfect for my rifle or my gun. My truck gun if I were needed. I can light up a whole field. Or Street Alleyway, and so on, do they make a lower power version with removable batteries that has those 2 types of. Lights like the search and whatever you said it was? Minnelli shotta straight bean
Holy cow the technology nowadays I know the batteries are up to 21 700 that's pumping out that power on a 18 6th 50. That's crazy. I really don't care for the built-in battery. I like to keep spare batteries that are high-powered inside of dual pack cases when I'm out. I'll have to give them all look
Also I did a lot of research years ago before I bought that. There there are one of the only companies that I looked at out of a bunch that when tested. Actually, whatever they state the lumen power is. Is pretty much spot on. Not like that Chinese junk that you find on eBay that says 10000 lumins. And you get it and it's about a hundred and fifty
I had nightcore for twelve years a A 1000 lm version and it recently out of nowhere just died. I wish I knew what was wrong. Or how to fix it But for 70 bucks I got my money back a 100 times over. I'm looking for something that I can news in my pocket or put on my rifle light Mount and this looks perfect i've seen a few reviews and it's very bright
On the sides, no. However if I add another one on the front, I feel like it sticks out too far unless it’s a pouch that goes under, so I don’t add any additional pouches on the front.
@@Skills2survive roger, yes l meant the ones on the sides. They look really handy. It’s a shame l can’t get hold of those over here in the UK, l’d like to check it out.
@@PreparedPathfinder I love my HPG kit bag, but this one is so much more versatile and modular. I’ll be posting a review of the backpack soon that shows even more versatility.
@@Skills2survive 60% off sale!! The design is meh and the hardware is very questionable. They make some insane claims on the website as well as all the funny names they give regular features really doesn't help. When did a bear's (baer?) skin become so well known for it's durability? The world doesn't need another chinese factory pumping out "tactical" crap for "patriots" and outdoors people.
It sure is great to get outdoors brother HellToTheYeah sorry it got cut short . HellToTheYeah, I guess it was reflecting the heat back at you really good jezz . Always nice testing some new gear them blankets not bad for the price and so versatile with the zipper and head hole . Night vision not to bad . I am interested in seeing more of the liner, so I will be looking forward to that . Thanks for the video
It’s always fun to test out new gear. I haven’t gotten a hold of the new Forrester’s Quilt yet. I did get to play with the prototype before the final production run was ordered. I hope they are able to get another run with that awesome brown color. There was possible talk of green or black if I remember right only because manufacturer was short on brown I believe. I am already longing for Fall again! I can’t stand hot weather for camping. It does take away some of the fun. Take care and God bless.
Green would be AWESOME!!! I am liking it so far, cant wait to get it out in the fall. Yea I hate hot weather camping especially down here in the South, but I still try and make the best of it !! Thanks for watching !
Life is full of unavoidable misery. No need to create our own. Going inside seemed like the right call. How far is your camping spot from your house? Looks nice 👍
@@Skills2survive You should check your blood. Headaches are from high or low blood. I know this because I am a diabetic. When I get to low my head hurts and I get dizzy you might be borderline.
@@davidcarothers3311 Shake your head all you want I am being very serious. About 98 million American adults (more than 1 in 3) have prediabetes-blood sugar levels that are higher than normal but not high enough yet to be classified as type 2 diabetes. When these 98 million people end up in the hospital for 3 weeks and receive the bill they will not find it so funny. With that many people who are about to have it they should be testing themselves.
